Salt Point Services completely transformed our master bathroom into the bathroom of our dreams. From the very beginning, Debbie took the time to thoroughly explain their process and patiently answer every question we had, which immediately gave us confidence in the team. Keith, our project manager, was incredible throughout the entire project. He was very patient with all of my product selections and always provided thoughtful, expert input that truly elevated the final result. Once construction began, every single person on their crew was respectful, professional, and courteous of our home. At the end of each day, everything was cleaned up and organized, which we appreciated so much during a major remodel. One thing that really sets Salt Point apart is that they do very little subcontracting. They have an exceptionally skilled in-house team where each person specializes in their craft, and it absolutely shows in the quality of work. Miguel’s tile work is hands-down the best we have ever seen. Chris, the carpenter, absolutely nailed every last detail. Erik’s work ethic was unmatched, and Berg did a fantastic job with all of the electrical work. Truly an amazing team all around. A huge shoutout as well to Jim, the owner, for building such a talented group of people and personally making sure everything was top-notch throughout the project. We could not be happier with the final result and are already looking forward to working with Salt Point Services again on future projects. Finding a contractor that delivers this level of craftsmanship, professionalism, and trustworthiness is rare, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found such an outstanding team!

I cant say enough about this company - from start to finish they were superb! The employees were so meticulous in everything they did. Brad and Will complement each other so well. They were the the team assigned to our project. I would highly recommend them for your home updates for sure. Jim France is easy to work with and cares about quality of his teams work. I am not easy to please but this contractor gets a bazillion star rating from me!!!

I've used Salt Point Services two times in as many years for repair/rebuild projects. I can't recommend them highly enough. From first phone call to project completion Jim and his crew are professional and responsive. I've found their work to be quality and exactly what they contracted. Jim and his crew were extremely professional, timely and exacting. We saw either Jim or Keith every day as they checked in with whatever crew was working. Our questions were answered in a timely manner; they made us feel that they took great pride in their work. We would look to them for future projects.

The librarian and artist decided to remove the aluminum siding from our 1925 colonial home with the dream of restoring it back to the house's original glory.... before we expire from old age. There are just some things we could not do, and I was excited to hire a company I trust to remove the exterior back door and trim right down to the studs and concrete blocks. And then, of course, they repaired the rot and hung my "new" 1920's door and new storm. Nothing about this job was normal, and I observed the thinking and planning that went into this job. It looks beautiful and I am no longer embarrassed about this entrance. (I'll post pictures when the snow melts and were able to go out to paint.) Thank you, Salt Point Services. Salt Point Services, recommended by family members, recently completed in excellent fashion what was just a small and modest job, less than $15,000 in our particular case, expanding the size of our first-floor half-bath and installing a shower: demolition, framing, relocating plumbing and electrical, installing the new shower and shower enclosure, drywalling, tiling and painting. My wife and I had mapped out in advance what we wanted. (The design choices were ours.) Ken and Keith responded promptly to our inquiry, visited promptly to assess the scope and details of the project, and started the work promptly. Their small crew of three completed the job in the space of three weeks. As the work went on, e-mail and personal communication were both great. The crew who did the work were not only efficient and competent, but also gentlemen in every way. They worked clean. They left everything clean. The detail of the installations, tiling and painting is all first-rate. I recommend Salt Point enthusiastically.

We recently had Salt Point Services change a storage unit in our basement into a bedroom with a closet and change a half bath to a full bath and we couldn't be more pleased with their work. All of the people they had working on our project were professional and kind and did quality work. Ken listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered it flawlessly. Salt Point Services delivers high quality work, while being trustworthy and courteous. It was such a good experience, we have already decided to use them for the many other remodels we need to do to our house. HIGHLY recommend!

Ken and the Salt Point team built a small deck off our kitchen in summer 2018. This is our second project with them and they do a wonderful job. I'm very curious about the construction process and Ken answers all my questions by phone, email, or text. He also has great ideas if you need help designing your space. The team was always very courteous and kept a very neat and clean construction site. No job is too big or too small for them.

Salt point repointed, cleaned and sealed 2 of our chimneys. I found them through friends that have hired them in the past with projects. We couldn’t be happier with the work they’ve done. Very professional and trustworthy. Excited to start more home repair/updates with this company!

I am so grateful for Ken’s talent and generosity. I was on the fence about purchasing a fixer upper, and Ken’s vision, planning, and execution helped turn this outdated house into a gorgeous updated one. Having known Ken and his wonderful family for a few years, I had no idea how gifted he is at all things having to do with the home. He is incredibly respectful, responsive, knowledgeable, and a visionary. I’d highly recommend his services. Thank you so much, Ken!

Ken and Jim provided very poor service. They overestimated the amount of tile needed by $3000. We are having a bunch of their work redone. Floor vents don't fit in our ceramic tile floors they installed. Or the cutouts for vents are too big, so we can see the ugly vent hole. Our hardwood floors were put in without proper acclimatization, leaving large unsightly gaps, which our toes get caught in. Now we need to pay to replace the entire floor. It took them 4 times longer to finish our construction project than they quoted us. Now we have to move our entire bedroom out, tear up all the trim and newly placed hardwood floors and undergo construction again. They didn't have a certified plumber or electrician. We ended up with a gas leak in our basement where they were working and had The gas company come out to fix it. That was very traumatic for our kids, since we had to evacuate for hours. Now they will not respond to us and honor their warranty. I have included pics of my gapping floors they haphazardly installed and tile floors they clearly were incapable of cutting out a standard 4 x 10 inch vent openings for. Finally, they overestimated our tile by several thousands of dollars, which they measured for, which was when the whole project turned upside down. They reluctantly refunded us for the tile overrage. Unfortunately, I have about 10 other problems with them, but I am only giving you the most egregious. They also changed the size of a cold air return (took the liberty to shrink it) and now our furnace hums. And they ruined our custom-ordered French doors for our pantry, while trying to install them. They had us call the door company and reorder them. Jim told us they spent enough time on the doors already. It became our problem salt point messed up the install leaving a large gap between the doors after attempting to shave them down. Finally, the shower they custom installed had almost no pressure from the hot water tap. They would not fix it. Our custom built shower now also leaks around the base. In the last picture, you can see they failed to lower drain pipe, but I guess they dont mind since they took our full payment and never came back to finish our hall bathroom. The worst contractor experience ever ! Thank you.

Friends of ours had Salt Point Services do work at their home. They were known to be the “pickiest” people. When they did not find anything wrong with the work in their home, I knew we would be hiring Jim and Ken. We have had several projects done at our home and our son’s home. I have a disability and needed a custom shower built. They listened to what I needed and kept in constant contact so I got exactly what I wanted. When you text them with a question...you will get an answer immediately,if they can. I like that they keep in constant contact. They are everything you want in a contractor along with their team. We are leaving for two months, they will be doing a major renovation for us. I know I don’t need to be here. They are just that good!

Every project they do is exceptional and and personalized. I would not call anyone else for any of my renovation needs!
