I would highly recommend Susan Clouse for any interior design work you need to have done. She is very professional and easy to work with. She listens to everything you want and will incorporate your ideas into her design. She has a lot of her own ideas and will discuss different design concepts with you to determine what will work for you and what will please you. I used to think that interior designers were for the wealthy, but after meeting Susan, I felt comfortable with her service and her approach to the job. She has a very good eye for color and design, and knows what colors match with specific designs. The charge for her services is quite reasonable. I couldn't be happier with her design for the kitchen and bathrooms. Her designs are stylish, contemporary, functional, and elegant. Her designs transform the space into a designer's showcase. Susan guides you through the whole process from 1) the design of the space to 2) the details of picking out the fixtures, colors, and textures to 3) the construction of the space. No detail is overlooked. Susan takes a process that would normally be very overwhelming and makes it an easy and fun experience.

We started our remodeling project remotely about 12 months ago. We interviewed a few Home Designers. We found Susan Clouse to be energetic, passionate in her work and communicated clearly. We are glad to have selected Susan to be the integral part of our project. This project is quite substantial in magnitude. Being out-of-town, not familiar with the recent trends and local rules added to the challenge for us. We have some specific features in the home we would like to change, but we have absolutely no idea how to. Susan listened to our needs and wants, then created design options, floor plans, elevations and perspective diagrams for us to visualize the possibilities. Her designs opened our eyes, introduced solutions that we had never thought of. When reviewing the designs with us, Susan was very patient in explaining the reasons behind. When a choice was needed from us, she gave us the Pros and Cons of the different choices so that we can decide with no regrets. In cases that we can't make a decision, or we didn't know enough to make one, Susan always gave us her expert opinion to get us there. There have been times that we changed our mind or added to our requirements, we were very impressed that Susan not only provided us a suggestion, but quickly created 2 or 3 options for us to choose from. After the designs were finalized, the next big task is the sourcing and selection of products and finishes. We were so happy that Susan was there to guide us through. We came into town for a couple of weeks to make all the product selections. From cabinets, plumbing fixtures, lighting, to tiles, countertops, backsplashes, flooring and paint colors, Susan did all the up-front work to put together the choices for us. We only need to make the selection from 2 or 3 choices, instead of thousands. All her up-front selection are always matching, coordinated and in harmony with each other. We really could not have done it, so easily, and in-time, if Susan had not been there helping us. In fact, so many things we didn't know we need to select. Susan had them in her plan, in fine details. During the rather long construction phase, Susan was there as the Consultant and assisting in Project Management. She made sure that everything was done according to the Plan. She worked very well with our General Contractor and all the suppliers, and answered their questions right away. There were a number of times, when we or our General Contractor not sure about a specification, Susan knew the answer right away. We were so amazed that Susan had the entire project design memorized, another proof that she is passionate about her work. Now that the remodeling project is complete. To say that we are happy with the outcome is a total understatement. We are so ecstatic and proud of what Susan and our General Contractor had achieved for us. We wholeheartedly recommend Susan to our friends and family, for their home design needs.

Susan was a pleasure to work with, and we are thrilled with the final result. At our initial consultation she was very approachable, and listened to our needs, as well as helping us to visualize the possibilities for the available space. Susan is punctual to all meetings, and presented her plans to us in the agreed timeframe. We liked her attention to detail, and experienced no surprises once construction was underway. Susan also helped us in our choices of countertop, paint color, and kitchen accessories. I would not hesitate to use Susan's skills again, and would definitely recommend her to clients looking to remodel their home. We were certainly fortunate to have found her.

We downsized from a five bedroom home to a condo. Susan helped us through the process. She visited the old home and suggested a design style for the condo. From there she suggested colors, flooring materials, tile, furniture, carpeting and draperies. She is a pro. Very easy to work with: fast, keeps appointments, practical and fun. I would recommend her to anyone needing decorating help.

We contacted Susan Clouse to help us with bathroom/flooring updating ideas. Being we needed to be "budget- minded" we appreciated her providing different options that would look good as well as keep us within the cost range we hoped to stay in. We had struggled looking for well-made replacement bathroom cabinets, but she showed us a line that ended up working well for us and they look great. Susan is timely with her communication, professional, experienced, friendly and has a keen sense of design/color which really helps clients who could feel overwhelmed with project decision-making. "I needed (wanted) to remodel/update my bathroom so I went to a bathroom showroom to begin the process of picking out fixtures. I was in the store about 5 minutes when I turned around and left.
