We hired Scott Cando for a kitchen, master bath, and fireplace remodel. In the beginning, we were very pleased with the project. Scott has creative ideas and good suggestions regarding design. In the end, however, we terminated our contract with him at the 90% completion point for the following reasons: 1. Poor to nonexistent communication regarding work details and timeframes. 2. Substandard work. 3. Unreasonable/unexplained delays. It's never pleasant when a project ends on a negative note. I believe Scott is capable of quality work from photos I have seen of his other projects. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to give him a glowing review, it is hard to overlook mistakes made during the course of the project and his inability to finish our job. Perhaps he was distracted by other projects.
