Scully Custom Carpentry

We hired Martin to refurbish our 16 year old wood deck. Within 1 week from our initial email, Martin had visited our house and provided a quote. We agreed on the scope of work (I took care of the existing decking disassembly and the railing disassembly and re-installation) and pricing and ~ 1 month later, Martin started the refurbishment. In 3 days, Martin reinforced our existing structure and installed new Trex decking material. We were very pleased with Martin's work and have no complaints. For being the only employee, Martin responded to our emails promptly. He actually pulled in his initial timeline by 1 week. Martin's quality of workmanship was great as he completed a lot of work just to reinforce our decking structure and bring it up to the current code. He kept his work area clean on a daily basis and at the end of the project he vacuumed the deck and cleaned it with the water hose. I have never had a previous contractor clean their work area like Martin. The final price that Martin charged us was what we initially agreed to. I found his hourly rate reasonable as the majority of the cost was for the materials. We would use Martin for any future projects.

Martin is an excellent worker and his workmanship is even better yet. He redid our deck and gave us some awesome advice and our deck turned out beautifully. Martin was very professional and easy to work with. Thank you Martin we are exceedingly happy with our new deck.

From the time that we requested a quote to the completion of the deck, Martin was professional, completed all work on time and as promised, and was great to work with.
