My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

I did a major renovation to my kitchen in 2021. They started strong and were very customer service friendly. Carolina was great to work with. There were a few hiccups but they got finished right before thanksgiving 2021. That’s when I made the mistake of making my final payment with just a couple of items remaining that I was assured would be done soon. There were some wall tiles and shelves to be installed. Then Carolina left and Britney was brought in. It has been over 18 months and they have yet to finish the shelves. I’m very patient and gave them multiple times to make this right. They never return calls and act as if I never gave them $125k to remodel the kitchen. After dozens of calls and texts unfortunately it looks like I’ll have to contact a lawyer. 90% went very well. NEVER give them the final payment until the job is done.

I can’t recommend Southern Design & Remodeling enough. They created a stunning kitchen and bathroom for me! From the very first moment while talking with designer Lori Shedlock, I knew she would take my vision and bring it to a beautiful and perfectly functional reality. The team at SDR (including Princess Thompson and Brittany Lingerfelt) walked me through every step of what the process while including me in every single detail – large and small. They have such an eye for what is classic or trendy, and welcome all ideas and suggestions. What could have been a very overwhelming experience was instead clear, well organized, and really fun! The crews and contractors they work with are incredibly professional, trustworthy, timely and friendly. I am an extremely happy customer and love walking into my dream kitchen every day – all thanks to the awesome team at SDR!

We had a great experience working with our designer Mitch Wilson and the entire team at Southern Design & Remodeling. Mitch listened to our ideas and gave us many creative design options within our budget. He was easy to work with and provided a unified theme to our kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room. He also followed the overall design style of the house and all the remodeled rooms look stunning! We also enjoyed working with the office staff, project managers and contractors. Everyone was knowledgeable and attentive.

Our kitchen remodel experience with SDR was stellar from beginning to end! Princess did a great job in understanding our needs and designed accordingly. Her expertise made us feel comfortable with her recommendations and design advice. Princess's attention to details and on-site availability during the project were also truly appreciated. Our new kitchen is both beautiful and functional. I highly recommend SDR, and am planning to use them for future projects.

We cannot recommend Southern Design and Remodeling highly enough! The entire process was seamless- from design, to selection, to construction and finishing. Carolina’s design for our kitchen was stunning, and her attention to detail helped to transform our late 90s kitchen into a modern kitchen of our dreams. Ernesto and his team were professional, punctual, and got the work done according to plan and budget, and on time. Our new kitchen is absolutely beautiful, and the customer service provided by Southern Design and Remodeling is unmatched!

We hired Ross, Princess, Adrienne, Lori and the team at Southern Design & Remodeling and we are so happy we did. Their professionalism, great design ideas, organization, communication, a LOVE for what they do shine through in their work. They listened to our ideas, wishes and thoughts and helped us come up with a great remodel design that worked a great process to complete our design in a very timely manner. We are so pleased with our results and Thankful to the Tram at Southern Design!

The design team and contractors at SDR were excellent. The design exceeded our expectations. The project was finished ahead of schedule and on budget. We love our new kitchen and cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of the entire team. You can always expect minor issues in any remodel project. I must say the minor issues were few and far between and resolved in an expeditious timeframe. We not only gained a beautiful and functional kitchen but new friends in the process. You cannot find a better place for your remodeling projects. Just look on the website for Eubanks project to see the before and after pictures to see for yourself.

Although I did not wind up hiring this company, I feel I need to submit a highly positive review because of the professional, transparent, and honest way they do business. This company specializes in beautiful kitchen make-overs which result in improved functionality and enhanced enjoyment of the space. The Southern Design representative who came to my home evaluated my needs and made several valuable suggestions. It turns out that my goals for my small kitchen project will be better achieved with a limited face-lift from an ordinary contractor. I was extremely impressed by the honesty of the assessment and the expertise of the representative. If a larger remodeling project comes up in the future, I will call this company right away.

Having been in our home for over 17 years we have completed many renovations. I have to say that working with this company has far surpassed my expectations. From the 1st meeting to discuss what I was thinking to how they made my every dream come true. The team at SDR truly are the definition of great teamwork, the communication was alway top notch. I was looking for a company that would handle everything for me and they did that. Having a company care as much as they did about my project and me made this the easiest renovation I have ever done.
