Working with Polly was such a wonderful experience from beginning to end. From our very first meeting, she made us feel completely at ease. She has such a warm, genuine personality and we immediately felt that we could trust her and enjoy the process together. Polly was the second designer we consulted with, and honestly, I knew from the minute she walked through the door that she was the one. Polly is amazing! We started with a master bath remodel and it morphed into a whole house remodel that took 4 months. This included bathroom design, whole house flooring, new cabinets and refaced cabinets, lighting, counter surfaces, furniture, art, painting and rugs. She was so easy to work with and really understood what I wanted. The decision process for something like this can be paralyzing; she made it very smooth and reassuring. Even things that would have normally been out of my comfort zone were made simple. If I couldn't visualize it she would draw it up for me and give me the peace of mind I needed to see she was right - every time! She was great at collaborating with me; we shared so many ideas to get exactly what I imagined. I am so happy with my "new" house. I have worked with designers before and Polly is by far the best! She helped me coordinate with all of the contractors and kept communication going; it even allowed me to get a vacation in during the heavy demolition. When she and her team staged the house for final reveal I could have cried. It was like a HGTV episode - so special. Thank you Polly!!!

Polly Bento is my favorite designer for many reasons. Her ability to pull together fabrics, colors, paints, hard surfaces, furniture, lighting and more is limitless with creative and sophistication. She has an encyclopedia of ideas for any look a person might want be it contemporary, transitional, traditional, beach coastal, and most of all your own personal style/look. Polly is easy to work and exudes positive energy that makes getting a project to fruition enjoyable each step of the way. The plan was to interview a couple of designers and pick the one that most had our vision for our remodel which included: cabinets/counter tops and paint for kitchen, living room, dining room, downstairs bath and upstairs 2nd bath. No walls or structure changes were involved, but a two-sided fireplace was re-configured. We had a set budget and two different styles between me and my spouse and needed a designer to put our styles together which we both would like. Polly was our first interview and she took our information and right away we could tell with her suggestions told us at once she was the one to go forward with. During the planning phase she brought over materials, and renderings to choose from keeping in mind our taste and budget. There was never pressure to choose the most elaborate or most expensive products, but Polly offered her suggestions on what to spend a little more on versus what is cosmetic. Once we agreed on final concept/materials we met contractors that Polly has worked with before. Each of the contractors gave their estimates and each I would recommend. From demo to installation each was dependable, would show up when said they would, and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of the day. Polly would always drop by to check on their work and give us upcoming details. This renovation took place in 2021 and we had only minor supply chain issues. We have Phase II planned in the near future that involves a master bedroom remodel that we will be asking Polly to oversee, which makes a repeat customer one of the best recommendations.

My family and I were so happy and impressed with Ms Polly Bento of Sea Glass Interior Design for she had transformed our 21 age-old living room, powder room, and dining area into a modern beautiful cozy resort-like haven. We now felt we’re always on vacation while lounging in our home. Polly was so easy to wok with. She listened to our wishes and masterfully incorporated them in her beautiful design. She had also chosen well her team who did exemplary work on putting new floor tiles, stone tiles on the fireplace, repainting the wall, new windows and patio doors, cozy breakfast nook, fresh curtains and furnitures. She has great taste and is so easy to work with. I love her presence and demeanor which helps when working together to find my desired outcome.
