Seashore Floors

Customer service at Seashore Floors in Avalon is nonexistent. Tile installation was delayed over 2 months necessitating contracting with anther tile installer. Trying to get Seashore to refund money paid in advance for an installation they didn’t do was a nightmare. They would not return any of my phone calls, and office staff was extremely nasty when they did answer the phone. Didn't expect any of this, as their prices were extremely expensive, and fortunately, I did much better elsewhere. Save yourself the headache.

The whole project was a disaster. They had to come out and measure my floors twice. One the day the floors were to be installed, the installer showed up with no flooring and no dumpster to put the removed flooring in. They were supposed to replace the molding they removed which I was willing to pay for. Instead they used the molding that they removed. It is all nicked and needs to be repainted. At this point, I decided not to proceed with the rest of the job. I had given them too much of deposit and requested a refund. They did not refund the amount that they said they would. When I called them about it, the office manager argued with me and gave me the run around. I asked to have the owner call me. It has been many weeks and no return call. If I could have given them no stars I would have.

We went to a couple of places and ended up at Seashore Floors. Our project was the purchase of a new home and we needed to make decisions for the entire house. We were very impressed with Karen and her grasp of our concept, she was very knowledgeable and put together beautiful designs for us. We were able to select the hardwood, tile and carpet all from the same place. They don't have granite but we were able to get our backsplash and fireplace tile there too.

We were very overwhelmed with the amount of decisions that needed to be made. Karen at Seashore was so helpful and knowledgable, breaking down the process and allowing us the time we needed to feel comfortable about our selections. Each room has it's own design and we are so happy! Karen was professional and we would highly recommend Seashore Floors.

Kristen was so helpful and patient throughout the entire process! We selected shower and floor tiles for 5 bathrooms plus bedroom carpet in one day with her guidance. Then she was equally helpful and creative when we went back to complete the tile selection for our fireplace surround and the kitchen backsplash. We would definitely recommend Seashore Floors- the expertise of both Kristen and Pete Fricano was incredible. We would definitely use them again should the need arise.

We have used Seashore Floors (SF) numerous times including changing all our floors, with the exception of our bathroom floors, in our Sea Isle City home. We hit just about every floor group - tile, hardwood floors and carpets. SF was an expert in each floor type. Our home includes 4 bedrooms, LR, DR and Kitchen. We love Seashore Floors so much; when it was time to redo our Kitchen and Master Bathroom in our Pa. home 100 miles away, we used SF again. They did a fantastic job with the Marble in our Kitchen/Master Bath and tile work on the Kitchen walls and Master Bath walls/shower. They found the perfect inlay for our double sink that matched the tile/marble perfectly. Both rooms should be showcased in a tile/marble magazine. Thank you Pete and your staff for doing such an amazing job. They provide excellent advise, superior workmanship and affordable prices.

I would absolutely recommend Seashore Floors to anyone who needs ideas and installation! Kristin and Pete are extremely helpful in the showroom, are patient and accessible. The installers were prompt and clean, and definitely finished the project in a timely fashion. We are very happy with our new fireplace surround and could not have made a final decision without Kristin's help! It's beautiful and brings a whole new look to the room!

So nice to work with! Always ready to answer a question or solve a problem. We had many different rooms, with many different materials, and everything was organized and done beautifully.

The showroom staff, in particular Kristen Fricano, were patient throughout the process of designing, selecting, adjusting and follow through. No ideas are ever off the table and they respect both your budget and ideas. The showroom displays are plentiful, clean and organized. Once the showroom staff knew our goals, they presented us with many options in various ranges, never compromising quality. Although pricing can be a consideration throughout the process, Seashore Floors was always willing to work with our budget. All flooring in our home (kitchen, DR, LR, steps and 3 bedrooms) and kitchen tile back splash was purchased through Seashore Floors. The installation crew for each flooring medium (tile, hardwood and carpet) was courteous, professional and their craftsmanship was excellent. Once scheduled, the installation process was timely and efficient. The job was started and completed as scheduled. The finished product gave us a completely enriched home, one that we are happy to live, entertain and even clean, knowing the product is quality product.

Seashore Floors has a beautiful showroom right in the heart of Avalon. They carry carpet, tile, hardwood, and area rugs. The business is family owned and operated. I assumed Seashore Floors' products would be pricy because they are located in Avalon but rather I found they had a large selection of inexpensive yet good quality surfaces. And of course they showed beautiful higher end designer items as well. Even though I was working with a small budget their staff gave me lots of attention and helped me make my new kitchen backsplash beautiful. The installers were very skilled, polite and clean. Their attention to detail made me so happy as I am a bit of a perfectionist. I could not be more happy with my experience with Seashore Floors! Do not even stop in Home Depot or Avalon Carpet Tile and Flooring, go straight to Seashore Floors in Avalon you will not be disappointed.
