Gerson and his team are great! They installed an island and some extra cabinets in our kitchen and did a fantastic job. They are accommodating and flexible, and do great work. They have also done an entire remodel for a cousin of mine and have done a lot of work for my parents, including bathroom renovations. I would highly recommend them.

Shalom G Construction remodeled two of my bathrooms in the fall of 2015. Both bathrooms were taken back to their studs and the construction included new floors, fixtures and plumbing. Gerson and his crew were excellent! They helped with design ideas, were always punctual, cleaned up after themselves everyday, and respected our 'no shoes in the house' policy which made it necessary for them to wear 'booties', something other workmen balk at. The job came out beautifully and my entire family was impressed with the workmanship and attention to detail. Gerson's lead worker was meticulous in his work and supervised his more junior workers well. Gerson oversaw the project and was onsite almost everyday to check on the progress and quality of the work. I would recommend Gerson and Shalom G Construction to anyone thinking about a home improvement or construction project. In fact, my niece has now used Shalom G for a major remodeling job and was completely happy with the results.

Shalom Construction is professional, competent, and knowledgeable. We did a complete gut renovation of my kitchen, two bathrooms and playroom. They communicated with me each step of the way. In doing the kitchen design, it was Gerson who came up with the key suggestion to add a bar counter which in the end made the entire house open, bright and inviting. He advised on the best way to get the double sinks in the bathroom that I wanted, and made it possible to put in the niche in the shower exactly as I wanted it. He was very understanding and accommodating of my requests, like centering overhead lights and toilets and making space for the medicine cabinet size I wanted. He was able to install the hood I wanted, and vented it out through the brick. He also painted our walls and trim, did electrical work (recessed lighting) and refinished the floors. He added hardwood floors where it was carpet. And he helped fix the exterior, repairing gutters, and holes in the siding. He also patched the concrete in the fireplace, and capped the chimney. Everyone who comes in here now says its absolutely beautiful. Thank you for everything Gerson. I would work with you again in a second!

Shalom Construction ran ice dam interference on our roof during the Winter of 2013. During the process a piece of ice dislodged, fell and broke an inch of a pvc vent pipe. The contractor said he would come back in the Spring to fix it. I thought I'd never see him again. Three months later, with no solicitation from me, he knocked at the door and told me he'd like to fix the pipe. Since then I have used Shalom Construction for carpentry work, painting, etc. Shalom is dependable, honest and do a great job. I highly recommend Shalom Construction.

Gerson was very professional. He stands by the quality and craftsmanship of his work. We have given his name to our friends whenever they ask for a name of someone they could rely upon. His prices are competitive and he was willing to work with our insurer when this was needed.
