I am very happy with the high quality of the installation, beautiful finished project and excellent cleanup after the job. Shaun, and his team including painting team Jesse and Lalo always respectful,kept in good communication, and very thorough with their work. We’ve checked with three other companies and Shaun offered the best competitive and fair prices. Overall we are highly recommend Shaun if you need to change your house siding or any home improvement in the near future.

We recently used Deskins Roofing and Siding for a complete vinyl siding replacement (using Hardie) and exterior repainting. We chose them after getting multiple proposals. They were not the cheapest, nor the most expensive. However, Shaun (Deskins) impressed us with his sincerity, knowledge, and our assumption of his ongoing involvement and availability while the work commenced (which proved to be correct). The work crews were knowledgeable, through, friendly, and always showed respect for our property. Our experience was wonderful!

Great job, at a great price, by a great company, owned by great people. We needed a whole house, made of 100% siding redone, and they did such a great job in a reasonable amount of time.

Shaun and his crew were awesome! They removed the old siding from our house and garage and replaced with OSB siding, house wrap and then Harie Plank horizontal siding. Then they caulked all the trim, nail holes and windows and doors and painted the entire house. The whole process took only a couple weeks and they cleaned the work site each and every night. We love our "New" house and would highly recommend Shaun Deskin and his crew for any remodeling work you need.

We cant say enough about the wonderful service and results that Shaun and his crew made to our house. They were always very professional, caring, and courteous to our needs from the beginning. Whenever we had questions or concerns during construction, Jessie would always be here and when necessary Shaun would come as well. We felt as though they were part of our family because they are extremely caring of their jobs. Our house, garage and poolhouse had the original siding from 1972, which was very much in disrepair. Jessie always came out to introduce the crew and get set-up. First they removed all the siding, added osb wrapping with James Hardie and painted to finish, along with 6" gutters for better drainage. It looks so beautiful and New, we love it! The Major addition was our Patio cover and outdoor kitchen with gas grill, running water and beverage sink, granite countertop and marble ledger tile for the wall and around 2 supporting posts. The Deskins Group was extremely professional. This was the first time we had a roof re-shingled. I was nervous about a large contract job like this. Jason made it very easy. The crew showed up early in the morning and the entire roof was done by mid-afternoon. Jason came by in the early evening and made sure there were no nails left on the ground. We had a new roof in a day and there was no mess left behind, not one roofing nail.

Deskins Group has helped me with several projects, and they have turned out to my satisfaction. Moreover it is much easier to use someone that does a wide range of projects.

Picking a contractor is nerve wracking – are they honest, do they do good work, will they complete the job timely - to name just a few of the worries. I am very happy with the Deskins Group. They are local and it is important to me to support local businesses. I have used them twice now – small job involving siding and bees (don’t ask) last year and a much bigger job involving adding a walk-in shower where only the ever present 1970s wet bar existed, external paint job, new windows (replacing original aluminum), new hot water heater and a couple of smaller items in a 1974 house. Shaun Deskins was knowledgeable, personable, set reasonable expectations and has a knack for hiring crews that are competent, friendly, courteous and hard workers. (He and the his crews had their work cut out for them since there seems to be no 90 degree angles in this house.) And his crew chief – Jesse – is just the best! I work from home and need to be on conference calls at various times during the day and worked with my schedule. He kept me informed when more noisy work needed to occur (like jack hammering, nail guns, cutting out the aluminum windows, etc). Dust was another item that they excelled at keeping out of the rest of the house. And I have dogs and was worried about stray nails, screws, etc. Jesse ensured a big rolling magnet was run around the house frequently so that the dogs couldn’t get stupid and eat said metal. I will use them again in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend Shaun Deskins. We had a roof leak on Saturday 12/8/2018 and Shaun came to our house on Sunday, sent us a bid on Sunday night and did the repair work two days later. I've have had many contractors come to our house for different estimates for various projects. We had our windows done by one company and then had siding down by Deskins Group. The pricing was great, the quality of work excellent and the crews were nice, always smiling (usually but the heat in Houston can melt that away). Shaun and Jesse were quick to respond to concerns and even corrected some of the installation of our windows. I wished we had them do the windows as well but lesson learned. Our next project with this team will be our roof.

Shaun and the guys built us a beautiful room addition, matching storage shed and re-roofed our house. They were great to work and very fair with the pricing even when we made last minute changes.

We contracted the Deskins Group to replace our roof. They did a great job and had it completed quickly. The owner is fair and honest and we are currently working on another project together!

I used Deskins Group for home siding replacement, re-painting of my home and a rebuild of a bay window. Shaun is GREAT!! HIGHLY recommend. He is honest and friendly. His pricing is fair. The did a good job with no complaints. The work was done in a timely manner and finished around the time projected. He came back later to seal below the bay window. AND he was willing to fix a door that wasn't shutting correctly after the power washing of the home at no cost. In this city, especially after Harvey there are a lot of questionable service providers out there. We had a terrible time with the contractor we chose to help with our rebuild after Harvey. Wish we would have know about Shaun and the Deskins Group! So if you are looking for a bid on exterior siding, home painting or any internal home remodel work it's worth it to call Shaun. You will see what I mean. Good honest guy. His pastor has even hired him to work for him. I have referred him to all of my neighbors already. Thought it would be helpful to post reviews out there so others know he gets two thumbs up from us!

We wanted to sell our house this summer and knew we needed some remodeling work done to get the house ready for sale. The Deskins Group advised us on what needed to be done to get the best price and then we hired them to do the remodeling work.. The house looked fantastic! We also used Shaun Deskins as our realtor. Our house sold and we are very pleased with his professional service. He was easy to work with and engaged in the process from start to finish. We would recommend him to anyone.

These guys are great! I was trying to get my house ready to sell this past summer. I tried doing the work my self and found myself with a lot of half finished jobs and I was running out of time. The team came over and quickly finished the work. Shaun even made made recommendations to help get the house sold quickly. Drywall, Painting, granite countertops and landscaping was all done in about a week for a great price. I was very pleased with their service.
