In addition to a full staging, Special Effects Staging & Design also provides styling services for home owners that have a furnished home but need a design/staging professional to help. Special Effects Staging & Design strives to make every room look inviting to a potential buyer. This also may include recommending fresh, contemporary accent pieces to be brought in. Styling is billed hourly as opposed to a fee for a full staging, we usually spend about three to five hours styling a furnished home. We have over 20 years of experience in the home furnishings, design and luxury retail industry . Prior to providing staging and residential design work we have developed products and collections for a variety of manufacturers. Our work was bold, colorful and unpredictable, making for beautiful collections that would quickly become best sellers for retailers like Tommy Bahama, Neiman Marcus and a variety of high end boutique stores. Our past experience also ventured into retail, seeing a need in Palm Springs for a retail store that broke away from just mid-century furniture. Ourcollections of furniture, pillows, area rugs and accessories were colorful, unique and the furniture comfortable and in styles ranging from modern, contemporary to transitional. We are color experts! Clients are always pleasantly surprised with out ability to make a variety of accent colors work together as a cohesive collection in a room.
