Carolina Garden Company has done several projects for us. Shelley Cook did the design around our pool, which is beautiful. They also have completed 2 decks for us. All work was completed in a perfect manner. The company is very creative and we would certainly use them for future project.

Shelly and the crew at Carolina Garden Company did an excellent job in transplanting a large tree, planting a new one, installing mulch and a river rock drainage area. I am very pleased with the professionalism and finished product. Very honest and reliable service.

We have used Carolina Garden company several times over the last couple of years and they are excellent. Shelley and Brad Cook do beautiful designs and their teams are very talented. We highly recommend them for hardscape and landscape design.

Carolina Garden Company failed to stand behind their work when the construction method they employed failed. We paid over $10,000 for Carolina Garden Company to install brick steps at our home in February 2021. When the raised sides of the steps failed, Carolina Gardens refused to address the problem. A detailed account follows. We contacted Carolina Garden Company in December 2020 to replace flagstone and mulch steps in back of our home with brick steps in order to provide a better pathway for rainwater drainage. Brad from Carolina Garden Company came to our home to look at the proposed work, at which time I showed him the steps we had built at the side of our home in 2017 for rainwater drainage that included raised side bricks and indicated I wanted the same design for the back of our home in order to serve the same purpose, water drainage. Carolina Garden Company quoted $9670.00 to complete the requested work and per the company’s policy, we paid half of the cost in advance. Work commenced on February 1, 2020. On February 9, 2020, they indicated that they had completed the job. Upon inspection, I pointed out that that they had failed to install the raised side bricks to direct the rainwater down the steps like the example installed in 2017. They suggested making a raised edge with masonry glue and promised it would be as strong or stronger than the cement that was used in 2017 to install the raised side bricks. With this guarantee, I reluctantly agreed to the masonry glue option instead of cement. An additional $700 was charged to install the raised brick sides. The job was completed using masonry glue and payment in full was rendered. By May 2021 we began to find side bricks that had fallen over. Upon further examination, we discovered additional bricks that jiggled when brushed against or lightly tapped. I contacted Brad of Carolina Garden Company, explained the situation, and sent him the attached photos of the dislodged bricks. When I did not get a response from Brad, I contacted the manufacturer of the mortar adhesion company to try to determine why these bricks were not adhering. The mortar adhesion company requested information regarding the installation method, so I asked Carolina Garden Company to contact them. To my knowledge, Carolina Garden Company never contacted the mortar adhesion company. When I again requested that Carolina Garden Company address the problem, Brad blamed me for the dislodged bricks and refused to take any action. From his June 30, 2021 email to me: “I have no interest in furthering this conversation nor addressing any other issues with the loose bricks.” This is the last I heard from Carolina Garden Company.

Carolina Garden Company designed, delivered, and installed landscaping for my new home, including front and back yards. Design work was completed within just a few days, with computer-generated options. The Home Owners Association fully approved the entire project in less than 10 days. Upon approval, the project was begun within one week and completed in 1.5 days. The plants are top-notch and the design fits the neighborhood, as well as my own personal preferences. The entire installation crew worked carefully to ensure my satisfaction with plant placement. They used organic topsoil for all plants, and topped everything with quality mulch. I love how it looks and can't wait for spring for flowers to bloom and grass to turn green!

I have used Carolina Garden Company several times for my landscaping needs. 'The vision' that I have is always carried out above and beyond my expectations! Their work & talent always transforms into a beautiful finished project.

I happened to stop along the road one day when I saw Shelley and her work team landscaping a small strip mall area. I had asked several other landscapers for their quotes, but several of them never showed up. Needless to say I was quite frustrated with the whole process. Shelly immediately took my phone number and in a day or so we had connected and she came out to look at the area in question. She was very prompt with her bid and when we received it, we thought maybe with the late time of year, we would wait until Spring. She suggested that we could start with one thing and then wait for additional work to begin in the Spring. We decided to start with a low wall to be built to separate the flower bed areas from the grass area. Because the grass had totally invaded the planting areas, there was a lot of work to be done just to ready these areas. She and her team of three, which included her husband, came every day and work from dawn to dusk! This is no exaggeration! Realize that I did not know Shelly or her quality of work until the work began. I must say after several weeks of non stop work, through all kinds of bad weather, our job is now complete! I just flew in from California where I had been for the last week celebrating my Father's 98th birthday. I arrived home and the first thing my husband said was, "You have to come out and see the wall"! Everything is just beyond beautiful. I could not have asked for more. Now, I am soooo looking forward to working with Shelly this Spring to accomplish the planting stage. She is so personal and includes you in all decisions and suggestions you might add. Her husband is equally as talented and they compliment each other perfectly. I am sorry to have rambled on so, but since my husband and I relocated back to Carolina in 1993, we have totally relied on referral! I mean top notch referrals only. I love the personal attention Shelley and Brad provide. My garden has never looked better. This is the 5th gardening company I've tried and the only one that has been reasonably priced and RELIABLE. Others have made appointments and shown up days later or not at all.

I can highly recommend Carolina Garden Co. for anyone's landscape needs. Shelley is a hard working professional with a courteous field staff. Our shrubbery beds had become very overgrown with weeds and sparse with plants in places. She gave us a very detailed estimate, suggested which plants to add and spread mulch throughout the entire yard. The job was completed within three days. just as she estimated. Shelley, has an extensive knowledge of plant species that will thrive in this area. I personally, enjoyed working with such a great company!
