Sherry took on a very difficult task of helping us upgrade 2 bathrooms without ripping up tile. She had to work with the colors of dated tile to give us a fresh, current look. This is more challenging than starting from scratch planning a brand new space. We used her design savvy, stone contacts, plumbing supply, and fabulous painter, while still doing some of the work scheduling and ordering on our own. She is super easy to work with. Prompt , dependable, and efficient. Lastly, she and her teams are trustworthy. I was able to let them enter the house to do some follow-up work when we were out of town with no worries at all. I would use her design services again and again!

We were downsizing to a much smaller footprint and enlisted Sherry's assistance with space planning, furnishings, kitchen and bathroom design and more. She was extremely patient with us newcomers to the design world! The new layout was inventive and solved so many space issues. We do not feel we lost any room due to the great use of space and storage. It was so much easier to choose from a curated selection of items rather than weeding through thousands of options on our own. Some of the furniture choices pushed us - very gently - out of of "same old, same old" habits and we are so pleased with the results. We maintained our personality, but in a more cohesive design. Many, many compliments from our visitors!

Daniel and I had Sherry and Darlene help us with a complete house renovation and remodel. We NEVER could have done it without them. First of all, they are the sweetest people we ever met. They go completely out of their way to do EVERYTHING to make us happy and to make sure all is right for us. They totally watch our budget as if it was their own. We had so many things needed to be done and they were always there to steer us in the right direction with design, being there to receive deliveries and go through ALL of it to make sure there were no issues. They set everything completely up. This is for our summer house so we are not there most of the time. We felt as if we had angels looking out for us, when we were gone, and we did. And with all their expertise and knowledge for style. you should see how GEORGEOUS they literally made this house over. We went shopping with them when we preferred to join them .If we choose not to take the trip to join them, they would spend hours online or texting us with pictures of things so we could make choices. ( And always assisting us with their professional opinions.) And because of their incredible knowlege, we felt so comfortable no matter how we did it. There is so much involved with a project like this, and getting Sherry and Darlene to be in charge of it, was the best part of purchasing this house. From the beauty of the newly evolved house, to the total peace of mind, knowing we have the best people we ever could have found, taking care of it all. It is REALLY amazing that we could be living here, at our other house, and getting a house redone miles away, not being able to be there through the whole project, with such fantastic results and NO STRESS!!! We had never worked with interior designers before, Sherry & Darlene exceeded our expectations in terms of their creativity, their patience with us, their attention to detail & their desire to do whatever it took to make us happy. The plan of attack was mapped out clearly so we could see not only when we were to take certain steps, but how our money was to be spent. Very creative, very smart in terms of how they chose furniture, patterns, and colors. Sherry & Darlene were very communicative and absolutely made us feel like part of the team. They never made us feel rushed & were extraordinarily patient, even when we took hours (or days) to make a decision. To the extent that it was within their power, everything was timely and efficient. Sherry and Darlene were a pleasure to work with. Extremely helpful in helping me make decisions and coming up with great solutions for my design needs. Great communication throughout each phase of my project. Always checking in on my progress and satisfaction each step of the way. I was having a hard time making decisions about updating several rooms in my home and decided to hire some professionals. I chose them as they seemed to have a good reputation and I liked that they were local. During the in home consultation we discussed what I was looking to accomplish and what sort of budget I was working with. They also gave me great referrals for several contractors that I was very happy with. We went on several shopping trips together and with their help made many design decisions that I am extremely happy with. The project took longer than expected but that was only because of other commitments that I had. Regardless I am very happy with the outcome. I am thrilled with the transformation in my home. I especially enjoy my new fireplace and feature wall in my living room!

I am so happy that I chose Sherry Frederick Interior Designs to give me a new living room! The work you do is fantastic, and your work ethic is great. You two are meant to work together. You knew what was needed, and you figured out how to make it happen (even if you had to drive me to stores). How you knew what would fit and what would match perfectly was amazing to me. It actually was fun to watch you work! Also, thank you both for all the extra work you have done for me. I bet you do not see many interior designers on the floor helping someone place cassettes/DVDs/books into low cabinets shelves. Or how about working with Styrofoam and trying to break it up and fit it all into garbage bags (not easy to do!). These are the type things you two do that make you much more special than most! After moving into our retirement home I wanted to get the decorating right. Find someone to help me with choosing window treatments, furniture, wall art and accessories. I remember telling them I wanted my new house to be comfy, current and cozy. Upon our first meeting I liked them both right away. I recently hired Sherry and her team to design my game/bar room. The projected consisted of several sports memorabilia pieces and bar furniture. From the start Sherry was great to work with, asking me several questions to ensure that the room when finished would reflect my thoughts and interests. The project took less than 2 weeks from our initial meeting, to design illustrations to installation. I have received many compliments from family and friends, and could not be happier with the outcome. I will be using Sherry for future projects that need designing in the upcoming months. Before I met Darlene, I moved my furniture around constantly and could never figure how my house looked and functioned best. It was exhausting and almost OCD! Throughout each of our conversations and shopping trips, I learned how to plan for a room's functionality, for company, every day comfort and conversation, organization/order. I learned also HOW to shop (with a plan) and work in layers (which is very fun!). Today I no longer move my furniture all around, which gives me so much more time for things I really want to spend my time on. Plus, I'm super proud of my home. As excited as I was to initially work with Darlene and Sherry, unfortunately it ended with much disappointment. I’m sure both parties have their own perspectives on what happened and could find faults with each other, but at the end of the day, I personally did not have a positive experience working with them and wish I would have spent my money on buying furniture for the house rather then hiring them.

I hired Sherry & Darlene to help me furnish my medium sized coastal dining room. I had a look in mind, but didn’t like the refurbished wood style that seems to be the coastal norm today. They listened to my needs and really focused on the style of my surrounding rooms to incorporate into what I wanted. They found the Beautiful table I was looking for- with a gorgeous Buffet & chairs to work beautiful together -without overwhelming the room. The accents of a rug and lighting to make it complete!
