Meg is fantastic! After recently moving into a new home, my husband and I had somewhat reached a wall with unpacking and I was totally paralyzed by our upstairs landing full of boxes. I found Meg online and she seemed like a good fit for our needs. We had an initial consultation and she assured me that we would be in good shape soon. Meg arrived on time for all of our appointments and for the first organizing session she came with her junior organizer, Fran, to unpack the landing and set up a bathroom closet and vanity. They sorted all of our toiletries (goodness, it seems as if we have almost a store's worth) and organized them in a way that I never could have done! Meg set up our main bathroom's under-the-sink area in a very usable and clever manner, as well. They used bins and organizing drawers that we already owned and everything fit wonderfully! Our landing is now completely clear and I breathe easier and smile every time I pass through it. Meg came back a few weeks later on her own to do our front hall closet. She had previously set up an order from the Container Store for items for the closet so that everything was ready to go when she arrived. She finished our closet in less than an hour and it is so much easier to use and access the shoes, coats, and accessories that we need. In addition, both Meg and Fran were wonderful with our small children running about! I tried to keep the kids out of their way as much as possible, but when the kids did get into their space, they involved them in the project in a fun way! I highly recommend Meg. If/when I have more needs for organizing help, I will definitely call Meg! Thank you for your wonderful work!

Meg is very friendly and easy to work with. I was hesitant to hire someone to help me organize my apartment after moving to Chicago from Cincinnati. I was trying to do it on my own and didn't know where to start. That is where Meg comes in. After a short consult where she could see what the state of my place was in she quickly scheduled a day to work with me. I am so glad I took the step to call her. She was very encouraging and gave positive feedback throughout the process. I felt relaxed and she made a task that I fear fun and manageable. I am pleased with the systems she set up for me and I am confident that I can keep it up. Meg is amazing and I would recommend her to anyone who needs a little extra help and motivation to get your place organized. She is cheaper than therapy and more effective!

I found Meg by doing an Internet search for organizers. Her reviews were very favorable. After chatting with her, I felt comfortable setting a date to work with her. I am a person who uses a wheelchair and it is important for me to have my primary items accessible and orderly. Meg clearly understood my goals. Upon arrival, Meg dove right in with helping me to purge and set aside items to be donated. My cabinets, drawers and closets are beautiful. She was excellent with eliminating my concealed clutter to make room and better placement for the items I use frequently. She actually made organizing fun! I am so pleased with the final results! Meg has an upbeat, easy going personality combined with professional work ethics. I recommend her highly!

I hired Meg after hearing her speak to a local group of working moms. I had seen pictures of her work and knew deep down that I needed some help organizing my kids toys. I felt it was out of control, they took over my family room, kitchen, and basement, and they never played with them because they couldn't find anything! It was suffocating and overwhelming. Meg gave me a shopping list which I was able to purchase and pick up from the store, they had it ready for me when I arrived. And then Meg and I went to it. It feels trite to say it, but the end results are AMAZING. I walk into my kitchen and family room and feel like there is more space. The kids dragged out toys they hadn't played with in forever, played with them and put them back! I can't say enough good things about this experience. Thanks for making my life a little easier, Meg. Everyone needs Meg in her life. She is absolutely amazing. My husband says at least once a week, “it is so nice to have things organized and know where things are.” This is in reference to getting all of the kids’ things together as part of the morning routine. We live in a 1600 sq foot city condo with our two kids (6 and 3 yrs old). Our condo has modest closet space and our kids share a bedroom. She worked tirelessly over the day she was here. The previous owners had put elfa shelves in most of the closets, but it never quite worked for us. She evaluated each of the closets and re-arranged the shelves, using the elfa materials we already had. She systematically sorted all of the items in each of the closets, and gave me permission (not actually) to either throw or give things away. It was amazing. After a full day here (and a trip to the Container Store), I had 4 completely (and thoughtfully) organized closets. Two of the closets had been complete disasters. We all have seen them – you open the door to force the vacuum cleaner or suitcase in and hope that the door will close. One of the closets was a multi-use closet that stored the Christmas decorations, the vacuum, 3 pieces of luggage, the ironing board, etc. Getting things out of the closet always involved having to take lots of things out to get to what was actually needed. She thoughtfully added (the elfa) shelves and hooks, so now that it is a non-event to use things from the closet. It is no longer an embarrassment (or dangerous ☺ ). I can’t say enough good things about Meg. I need her to come back and fix the rest of my life! She is amazing. Thanks again Meg.

She did the impossible: She got my desk in order. But far more importantly, she created a system by which I can keep it that way. I'm a naturally disorganized person and have always struggled with piles upon piles of clutter accumulating on my desk...to the point where I could scarcely find room to work. Meg was unintimidated by the massive heaps of papers, and made quick work of sorting through it, getting input from me on how to categorize things. Then the magic happened...she developed a workflow. With only a few dollars worth of stuff from the office supply store, she was able to transform my desk from a landing and accumulation spot for anything and everything into a work processing station where things flow in, get sorted, get processed and worked on appropriately, and then flow out. 6 months later my desk is still neat and organized and I am infinitely more productive.

Meg is simply the best! She whipped us guys into organization mode at our (plumbing) office in Park Ridge . I would/will recommend her services to all!!!

Miracle worker! Meg has a magical ability to come in and look at your space and make it function so much better. Meg organized our basement AKA the toy and laundry explosion. Meg is a mom herself, she gets having young kids and all their toys and knows how to get them under control. Meg is cool and fun and you never feel like she's judging you, because let's be honest, no one is very excited about their mess! And she does a great job of incorporating furniture and storage you already have. She only moved 2 pieces of furniture in our basement and it looks 50 times bigger. I'm so happy!

I just LOVE the closets Meg designed and installed for our new home. We did a front door coat closet and my walk-in closet. In addition, Meg organized everything since we newly moved in (kitchen, laundry room, living room). Meg saved me! I just have too much stuff. Meg is absolutely a great designer, she designs the structure draft on the computer first then you can choose the design you like. In addition, she is very handy, she measures very accurately and installs really fast. I have tons of clothes and shoes I don't even wanna look at, she was going through them one by one and categorized by season, occasion.etc. It's amazing how quick and efficient Meg is! -Sienna

Meg has worked her magic again! Simply Organized by Meg helped our firm only a number of months ago to organize our office to maximize space and efficiency. We loved the result! But, this week we needed to fit additional employees into our existing footprint. Stumped, we called Meg. Somehow, Simply Organized by Meg sprinkled its special sauce, added plentiful and organized work stations for two more people, and created more space than we had to begin with!
