Michael and Dana helped with the design of our basement caretaker unit. They took my basic ideas and really helped me develop them and add accents but remained very practical. I love the rugs that they found for me! I will definitely use them again for my future designing needs.

Michael was extremely professional, kind and engaging. His creativity is off the charts; we love the downstairs closet space he created for us. He is very knowledgeable and personable, and he came in on budget!

I Bought a 3 bedroom 3.5 bath contemporary loft style townhouse that was undergoing renovation and repair due to a major water leak in the kitchen area. Michael was the Contractor for this job which included major drywall repair, kitchen cabinet replacement, and hardwood floor refurbishment. This job was completed quite professionally and on time prior to my purchasing the home. I had the benefit of seeing the before and after of this job. Very pleased with the outcome, in fact, so much so that I hired Michael to assist me in furnishing and decorating the 2400 square foot townhouse. He is a multi-generational skilled and educated interior designer. Contemporarary Loft style architecture is rare in Steamboat and Michael made the seemingly impossible happen within my budget. I accepted his initial room by room selection of furniture, artwork, and other items of necessity including their placement with only minor changes on his first proposal. He integrated several of my favorite specific furniture brands and pieces and even beat the best price I could find on most items. His flexibility in working with clients is legendary in Steamboat. Expertise, Professionalism, Imaginative, and Creative, all clearly describe Michael and his multitalented Interior Design business.

We hired Steamboat Interiors when we first purchased our apartment in 2012 to refresh the styling, replace furniture, colour schemes etc. We were referred by a friend and found the experience to be very positive. Michael and his team were really exceptional and I very strongly endorse them. We have subsequently worked with Steamboat Interiors on further projects including a kitchen remodel with outstanding outcomes. We are currently working on some other minor upgrade projects together.

Not only did he find the perfect furniture size for the 882 SF condo but he suggested a remodel by combine two crowded bathrooms into one very spacious luxurious bath which gave me a very workable laundry room! Wow, I would have hated doing laundry with the old set up!
