Montage Design Studio has been in business since 2006. While we are based in Colorado, we have completed well over 100 residential projects across the US, Mexico and Europe. A number of our clients have hired us to do multiple projects for themselves and other family members. We treasure those long-term relationships. We assist our clients in all phases of the design, build and furnishing process. Sometimes, a client wants everything done at once. In other’s, the project needs to be done in phases over a few years. We are happy to work with clients to develop a timetable that fits their needs, budget and ability to withstand the challenges of construction. This starts with being honest and frank about what things cost and how long it will take to do them. Yes, we all love HGTV, but major remodels don't happen in a weekend and can’t be done on a dime. At least not well! It is our job to listen to our clients and advise them on how best to reach their goals. This requires a mix of creativity and practicality. We are keenly aware of the fact we are designing for our clients, not ourselves. Design styles and tastes vary widely. We’ve done modern homes and traditional homes, from the dessert southwest to coastal New England. We’ve worked on urban lofts and a cozy farmhouse in rural France. Montage Design Studio provide a complete design solution for our clients; from drafting floor plans for remodels and new homes to selecting all the finishes that give a house character and style. We work with our clients to select furniture, accessories, and art work… all of the details needed to make a home feel finished and comfortable. In a recent project, we even helped a client purchase new dishes, silverware, pots and pans! Ultimately, the relationship between a designer and client is a collaboration. One of our clients stated it most clearly when he said (Montage) "... did a great job of listening to what I wanted, getting to know me and then using (their) design talent to create a space that is exactly what I wanted but could have never envisioned on my own.”
