Working with Angela and Tom at Stringline Design was a wonderful experience. Everything, every step of the way, was handled professionally and attentively. After our house fire, you can imagine the stress in putting our lives back together. Stringline Design took the stress out of the design of our remodel. To be honest we did not have a starting point and true understanding of house building- what we had was an idea and concept and Stringline turned our thoughts into to a tangible product. I searched Houzz and found StringLine with good reviews. In my first conversation with the owner Angela I was convinced that I was in the right place. Angela took my wife and me through a non-stressed process and over many calls and creative conversations developed a very elegant design that we are EXTREMELY happy with. For over a year, we had the pleasure of working with Angela and Tom of Stringline Design on the design of our custom home, starting with a basic plan that required significant modifications. Both Angela and Tom provided insightful suggestions that significantly influenced the final design of our home. They both have incredible listening skills and were able to translate what we wanted to a design that was even better than what we imagined. They also were assertive enough in a very professional way to steer us from potential design pitfalls that could impact the live-ability of our home and outdoor space. The final plans required very few change-orders during the construction phase, which translated to cost savings for us. Ultimately, we ended up with a house that far exceeded our imagination, and Tom and Angela were influential in making that happen. Beyond Tom and Angela’s technical skills, they are a delight to work with and were so patient in the rounds and rounds of modifications, when we changed our minds about a particular design element. If you work with them, just know that when you change the plans, about 90% of the time, you will end up going back to their original suggestions. It just took longer for us to see the vision of what they were proposing. We highly recommend Stringline Design for your next remodeling or home design project.

It was a pleasure for my wife and I to work with Tom and Angela at Stringline Design for our new custom built home from concept all the way through the construction process. We brought them a basic design along with bits and pieces of other designs, and Stringline Design married them all into an absolutely amazing floor plan and product. They were patient and listened to what we wanted in a home, as well as introduced welcome and necessary changes that contributed to the overall success of the project. Every step of this project was handled beautifully. Designing the house was just plain fun, and Angela and Tom listened to our desires for a house that was in keeping with our lifestyle. Our biggest "want" was a home that seemed to blend into the land and reflected the history of this old cattle ranch. We got exactly what we wanted and it all was within the budget and finished on time!
