Before doing out recent PV panel install, we needed to get new shakes on that section of the roof. We asked for quotes from three different companies, and Surface Shields was one of the most cost effective and could do the job right away. Met with Zach and he was great in explaining the process and insuring the shake quality was what we wanted. The crew doing the re-roofing were efficient and courteous and cleaned up afterwards. All in all, we were very pleased with our experience and would recommend them to others.

I received three bids for re-roofing our house in Kalama Valley. Surface Shield had done a nice roofing job for a couple of our neighbors so I wanted to include them in the bidding. They sent an estimator out the same week to discuss the project and provided a variety of options for asphalt shingles, which was what we wanted. Their bid was much more realistic than the competitors and allowed us to get a high quality reflective shingle that keeps the house much cooler. The Surface Shield roofing team did a great job taking off the old shingles and the installed the new shingles in just a couple of days, did a nice job with the clean-up and came back promptly for a site inspection. The new roof looks great and our house is much cooler thanks to the high quality shingles. Mahalo!

Hire this company! Superior customer service from initial estimate to final cleanup. I had requested estimates from 4 established roofing companies of which, one did not show up on the date of estimation, one did not reply at all and the other roofer quoted a price that was $2000 over Surface Shield Roofing’s proposal. Don’t hesitate, this company is for real!
