Susan Drover provided experienced, creative, and personalized consultative service for a major house renovation that we completed in the spring of 2015. It was essentially a complete overhaul. The result was fantastic and we remain thrilled with it .This would not have been possible without Susan's vision. Susan was involved from start to finish. We really felt that we were part of a team with Susan and our contractor, Andrew McDonald. At the beginning of the project Susan engaged us to get a clear understanding of our lifestyle, functional needs and style preferences. She wanted to see as many pictures as possible of what we liked from the Houzz Photo library and from other sources, including our favored furnishings and paintings to understand our aesthetic which she masterfully satisfied in the final product. Susan emphasized communication and we had frequent and conveniently timed useful and productive meetings with Susan and our contractor, Andrew McDonald. It started with space planning.We thought we already had a great plan but Susan helped us make substantial significant changes and improvements to the space design very early in the project without incurring retroactive change orders. This planning made a huge difference and gave us a fabulous result that was quite different from the original plan. I am confined to a wheelchair and we now enjoy a beautiful barrier-free home because of Susan's patience, vision, flexibility and creativity. Susan is a tireless worker with great vision and practical creativity. Susan helped us with every detail in design and was intimately involved with some of the more challenging aspects of renovation such as our wheelchair accessible bathroom and the fabulous kitchen. She helped us save money and advised us on smart selective choices on more costly components which make a real difference to the final product. She is a real pro and a great joy to work with. You will be very satisfied working with Susan Drover no matter how big or small the job.. Our recommendation for Susan is as high as it gets!
