we had used Taylor Burton Company for some previous remodeling work and were very pleased with their work. when we experienced recent storm damage to our roof and gutters, we contacted them again and learned that Taylor Burton Roofing has been added to their company activities. we had an estimate prepared and submitted to us and after some review, we accepted their detailed proposal. work started promptly, has been completed within a week and a final actual billing submitted that was $$$ less than the proposal as a result of not needing to replace some undamaged materials - a pleasant and appreciated surprise from this contractor. these are good, honest people - all of the Taylor Burton group and everyone of the multiple subcontractors that provided excellent craft work. i can highly recommend the company, their subcontractors and their work, these are craftsmen in every sense.

We decided to do some home renovations a few years ago and chose Taylor Burton. We started out with a dim idea of the finished project; so we needed someone who would work with us over a potential long time to figure out exactly the final project and the final cost. We did not want to be pushed along. And, to be extremely difficult, we did not want to move out of the house! Taylor Burton accommodated us on all these fronts. They suggested we stage the work in five separate projects so that while they worked in one area of the house, we could live in another. Then they presented a line item budget for each stage that provided the cost of things like labor, materials, clean up, fixtures, lighting, flooring, windows, doors, insulation, HVAC... Line items like flooring gave us a flooring budget that allowed us to shop for flooring knowing that we could spend up to the line item amount and not exceed our budget. We spent a lot of unpressured time shopping to find just exactly the things we wanted for our renovation. If we spent less than the line item for the item, then the total budget cost would reduce by that amount. Taylor Burton gave us many wonderful ideas based on their experience and what was currently favored in the housing market. We spent about two years doing this renovation. During that time we renovated the basement, 3 bathrooms, added a half bath, added a large den/sun room, cabinets and flooring, two decks, front porch steps, a covered patio, and sod in the back yard. It was really a great deal of work. We always felt like we were in control, but we did not have to manage any part of the work. Whatever we wanted done, they would make it so. These are hard working men who are proud of their work. We enjoyed our conversations with them and learned a lot about renovations, Anytime we had a question, we just asked and they politely stopped whatever they were doing and answered us. Many times we changed our minds mid-stream and wanted something different. The answer I always heard was, " We can do that"! Its been a year or so since they finished our projects. We are well pleased. We are really enjoying our NEW home. Next time I want something done, I will call Taylor Burton again. I know they will say, "We can do that!"

Taylor Burton Company did an excellent job with my remodel and I can say with 100% certainty, the next construction job I have I will be calling them again!
