The original bathroom always felt tight and awkward, especially when more than one person needed the space. Expanding into an adjacent storage area allowed the entire layout to breathe. Walls were adjusted, supports reinforced, and the footprint rebalanced to create better movement and storage. Once the bathroom remodel took shape, the upgrade became about comfort rather than size alone. Michael guided the build once work began, keeping decisions practical. The new bathroom is natural and well-proportioned, as if it had always been designed that way.

A colleague referred us to Jackie at Teamup Construction after he finished their home. Ours was a new construction project on a tricky sloped site. The final layout had four bedrooms, a studio, and a large second-floor deck with a shaded overhang. Before building, his team had to work with a geotech consultant due to soil conditions. That coordination saved time later when it came to inspections. They built off an engineered pier and beam system, followed by a clean frame-up across two floors. Framing passed without changes. Even with a complex site and layout, Jackie kept it practical. He met with us on-site every Friday for a walk-through and to get ahead of decisions like window placements and wall shifts. The project included two different rooflines and a central courtyard that needed special framing to allow for a folding glass wall. Materials were delivered in stages to manage site space. What started as a bathroom upgrade turned into one of the most useful changes we’ve made in the home. Michael’s team didn’t expand the space, but they redid the entire footprint. Our master bath remodel involved removing an old wall, rerouting plumbing, and installing a new floor. Jackie’s team handled every phase, from demo to finish, without delays. The space was completely reconfigured, with a larger shower, new framing, updated venting, and smart lighting. The inspection passed on the first try. We now have a fully modern bathroom with none of the layout issues we lived with for years.

Cabinets are full height with crown molding, and the island features two levels—one for preparation and one for seating. Tile flooring was replaced with LVP, which has been great for cleaning. The project needed three inspections, and everything passed without issues. Communication was clear from start to end. The entire team was reliable, stayed on track, and never over-promised anything. We're very satisfied with the results.

Michael and his team helped me turn a large portion of my yard into a rental-ready accessory dwelling unit. It is a 2-bedroom unit, and it’s been a good investment from day one.
