Collective Design

We purchased a $7,500 sofa from CDG. We were told the fabric was sturdy and could be used even in vacation rentals (we don't use it for this purpose, strictly personal home use). Within weeks it started pilling to the point where it looked like a sofa from a frat house. We sent a cover back to the manufacturer for replacement, they responded that there was dog hair on it and that voids warranty (which was never mentioned) They never asked if we even have a dog or whether the animal hair could have come from the UPS who packed it. So essentially all they have to do is to void the warranty is sprinkle a little dog hair on the packaging. So now we are stuck with a poorly made sofa that looks cheap and ratty for our $7k. Buyer beware here, they do not stand by their products

We just had our furniture installed and are so pleased! We worked remotely with Collective, Elle Schwab specifically, and it has come together beautifully. While we own a property in Breckenridge, we live overseas so all selections were from pictures. It was sometimes difficult to understand textures or how well things would work from a sample that was 3x3 but Elle did it - our place really came together in a way that without Elle would have never achieved. Elle was great to work with and really catered to our needs and our preferences. She's a gem and we have a beautiful home because of her work and style.
