Joe Wood did an amazing job transforming our entire first floor. He made it possible for us to stay in the house through construction for all but the few days of hardwood floor staining. The attention to detail and insight on so many things we hadn't thought of was greatly appreciated. Joe had some of the best subcontractors we could ever imagine. Friendly, professional and very high-end quality installation. Colleen and I would use Joe again and we will be recommending him to our friends and family.

JW Design is very professional and brings capabilities to handle in-depth renovations. They were the general contractor for our kitchen redo, where we knocked out walls, installed load bearing beams and moved infrastructure (doors, ductwork, plumbing). Joe coordinated all the work, doing it with his contractors and himself. His work was timely and methodical. Importantly, we always had confidence of his crews being responsible to be in our house. Joe is conscientious and will make sure the job is done right. We will use him again.

JW Design did the design and construction on an addition (fully enclosed 4 season porch) plus remodel of our Master Bedroom. Design phase was helpful to get us thinking about all the options and considerations for utilities and materials. As the general contractor Joe was involved in all phases, emphasized getting done what we wanted and focused on good quality work. We had several items that needed some rework, but he managed this well and in the end delivered the full package of what we were looking for including all the little details that are often a challenge to get completed.

Joe is an excellent contractor to work with. He had creative, workable ideas and listened to what our family needs were. The quality of the workmanship was excellent - and he even had the tile people redo a shower because it was not exactly what he wanted. He removed our back staircase, constructed a beautiful galley style utility/mudroom and added a bathroom/created a bedroom upstairs in what was our bonus room. We moved the washer/dryer and added a lovely exterior entrance with a portico above the door. Joe designed and built this area himself and it is fantastic. We are completely satisfied with the end product. Joe is pleasant, intelligent, and always made us feel comfortable to have him in our home. He even handled talking with our four children well.

Joe Wood was a tremendous help to us in both the design and in the construction process of our new bathroom. He answered all of our questions, gave us the personal attention that we needed, and he has the perfect disposition for someone who is remodeling other people's homes. We will use JW Design again for our next project.

JW Design helped us design and build a screened porch where a deck had been on the back of our home. We are very pleased with how everything has turned out. Designing the project with Joe was a perfect balance of his expertise with what we envisioned and wanted. The room is beautiful, we enjoy being in it immensely and we're confident that it will add value to our home. The craftsmen that JW Design employs are professionals who are skilled in their areas of expertise and we are confident in all aspects of the quality of our project.

Joe did a bathroom project for us which entailed combining a powder room with a small bathroom. It is beautiful! We can say a lot of good things about Joe's work, but the best was that he was flexible and patient. He was very open to us bringing in a different supplier on a few things. When we had changes and delays, and he worked with our busy schedule and did not make us feel rushed, even if it interfered with his schedule. Then when we were in a hurry, he accommodated that too! Definitely easy to work with, and trustworthy!

Joe and his contractors were hired to build our screen porch! We were extremely pleased with the communication during the entire process and his work was excellent! I would highly recommend this company! We love our screened porch! Thank you Joe!

Joe Wood is a terrific guy and an excellent general contractor. A true man of his word. Our renovation consisted of remodeling the kitchen, master bathroom, master closet and converting a laundry closet to a laundry room.plus remodeling the 1/2 vanity bathroom . In addition he rebuild the fireplace, and added windows on both sides. His subcontractor were clean and courteous. We would definitely use Joe for any future remodeling.

JW performed a total renovation of my home. Moved walls/subfloors/paint/tile/appliances/electric/design/lighting/plumbing/sinks/hardware counter tops etc. I would give JW a ten star rating if possible. Great service / great follow up / knowledgeable contractor.
