The Kitchen Man - Granite and Quartz Countertops

"The Kitchen Man" was hired to remodel a kitchen, with a contract signed on April 24, 2025, for $22,000 and a promised completion date of 90 days later. Work commenced in the first week of June. The signed contract specified that the final payment was due upon the completion of the countertop installation. However, during the project, "Kitchen Man" representatives demanded all payments be made before the countertop installation could proceed, directly contradicting the contract terms. This change in terms and receipt of full payment marked a significant downturn in the project's progress and the contractor's responsiveness. Immediately after the payment demand, I contacted Chris, the owner, to address these concerns and the stalled progress, but these attempts proved unsuccessful. Furthermore, a proposed modification (by the project manager Jackie) to add a small countertop piece behind the stove to accommodate an electrical box, has been left unaddressed. Despite numerous calls and visits to the office, the kitchen remains unfinished, lacking the promised restrictor clips for the cabinet doors and said piece behind stove easily gotten from cutout of sink. The workmanship itself has also been a disappointment, with significant gaps visible in risers, crown molding corners, and corner round molding throughout the kitchen. Daily cleanup has frequently fallen to me. As of August 22, 2025, the kitchen is still not completed, and all communication from " The Kitchen Man" has ceased. The company has failed to honor the terms of the contract, demanded payments ahead of schedule, and delivered subpar work, leaving my wife and I with an unfinished kitchen.

I got a gorgeous marble kitchen counter top with new back splash and sink to match my counter top! The whole crew there are very professional, I will use The Kitchen Man again in the future when were ready to upgrade our bathrooms, Mary

The Kitchen Man came highly recommended and I can see why. From picking out the granite to the installation everything was completed in a very timely manner, just as promised. A pleasure to work with Chris and his team.

Chris and his team are professionals by trade ,their craft,knowledge wisdom of their craft or work when it comes down to granite or marble.The way they take pride and craftmanship in their work and the find detailing and attentiveness is above and beyond.But that is what they do.I had a vision and they made it into a reality.Seriously I am a GODLY man a man of truth.The Kitchen Man can make it happen for you.I am not telling you what nobody told me I am telling you what I know.You will be well pleased.LIKE i am.Estatic they are amazing.Believe me.They are prompt and stick to their deadline.True professionals.

Fantastic job at a great price! They came to measure and make their templates and delivered the granite in less than 48 hours. Install was a breeze, the guys who did the work were awesome, and Chris is amazing to work with! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kitchen remodel!

We recently had a modification done to our kitchen island counter. Chris came to our house shortly after our call to estimate the job. He almost immediately knew the name of the granite piece to match our back counter, which was remaining the same. I wasn't sure if it really did match so we went to his supplier in Myrtle Beach, where the folks there were also very helpful in helping us to decide which was our match, we also texted and sent pictures back and forth along with emails. Excellent communication with him and also his supplier. He came out on a Wednesday and tore out the counter and on Friday came back to finish the job with his electrical and plumbing contractors. All were very professional. I highly recommend him for your next kitchen modification.

Recently had a quartz counter top & s.s. sink put in by these folks. Working with Chris the owner was a pleasure. He was very responsive & helpful. His crews arrived on time & did a professional & well organized take out & install. The counter is beautiful & I love everything about it. Just one caveat - get your own plumber & finisher. Any speckling & sanding needs to be done by someone else. I would recommend The Kitchen Man for any & all counter work you need done.
