Matt Smith is meticulous in his preparation as well as his execution. His ability to get the job done “on schedule” is unlike most contractors.

Persimmon was the general contractor for a remodeling project on the exterior/interior of my house in the Winter/Spring of 2024. The scope of the remodeling involved an addition to expand the square footage of my house and to provide custom cabinetry within the home. Specifcially the owner, Matt Smith, was simply outstanding. The quality of work, the consistency of his work crews, the attention to detail and managing inevitable concerns that arise out of construction work that is in the 6 figures was great. I cannot recommend Persimmon and Matt Smith enough for anyone considering the build of a custom home or a major renovation project!.

Matt is thorough and thoughtful, often eliminating problems before they arise through anticipation, vision and experience. Scheduling and quality were paramount and Matt did excellent on both. You can’t say “they don’t build them like they used to” because he still does with the added bonus of new technologies.
