Lindgren Landscape

Our back yard went from ugly to awesome thanks to Lindgren Landscape. It started out as a barren patch of dirt and Lindgren transformed it into a beautiful and relaxing area, including a special area just for our dogs. Designer Jamie McCarn took my vague ideas and turned them into a design that included a beautiful dry stream bed, flagstone walkways, water-wise perennials, just the right trees placed in just the right spots and plentiful turf areas (for dogs and humans alike). It’s a wonderful blend of hardscaping and plantings with lots of beautiful curving lines. Jamie never blinked when I asked for minor modifications and plant switches. She even accompanied me to the landscape supply yard so that I could pick out just the right boulders, as I had very specific ideas about the boulders (including needing some nice flatter ones for doggy perches). She was also creative and accommodating in presenting alternatives that would keep the overall design within our budget. As for the crew: I have been involved in many a landscaping project and have honestly never, ever seen such a hardworking crew. Foreman Juan Gomez, crewmembers Juan Carlos and Cruz just never seemed to stop (and my apologies if I have forgotten someone here). They worked hard all day, every day – and they were working in temps from the high 90s to low 100s for the whole job. At the end of each day, they cleaned up the area and at the end of the job, they took pains to clean up the street in the front of the house where the equipment, supplies and all the materials had been staged. They left the area looking better than it looked before the job started. Kudos, too, to Project Manager Brian Leavitt who oversaw the whole project! Every person on the team was extremely accommodating when I had questions. No one ever made me feel as though I was pestering with silly questions and requests. When I asked that the flagstones be placed a bit closer together – no problem! When I asked that a tree be planted an inch the other way – no problem! They went above and beyond in every possible way. I told Jamie that I didn’t want a ho-hum yard, but something special, and the Lindgren team delivered.

We just had a great experience with Lindgren Landscape! They were quick to respond to an online inquiry, scheduled a time to come out and discuss our grading issue and offer several options, from 'plain jane' to a decorative, functional solution. Jamie McCarn was very communicative and 'squeezed us in' between other bigger jobs. And we still have beautiful Fall days to enjoy it! We could not be happier! We just completed a full landscape demo and reinstall with Lindgren and do not have enough good things to say about them. From the bid process, to demo, then install, they exceeded every expectation. They were here on time, stayed in budget, completed our project within the projected timeline and on top of all of that, the finished product is better than we could have imagined. In particular our foreman, Shane was polite and professional while overseeing and performing the work on our property. We cannot recommend Lindgren Landscape & Irrigation, Inc. highly enough. We are extremely satisfied with the end result - creating the back and side yards of our dreams. From start to finish, Landscape Designer Bryon Weber, was our designated point of contact throughout the entire process. It is such a relief these days to work with just one person so that there is no confusion between us, the clients and the contractor. We just moved from Las Vegas, NV to Loveland, CO and are completely unfamiliar with the different climate and landscaping options - but we knew that we wanted an outdoor living space that we could enjoy now and in the years to come with our children. We did our research at first and scheduled interviews with different landscape “companies”, some of which we found were just asperaitional one-man businesses that did little more than the most basic lawn maintenance. Lindgren Landscape and Irrigation, Inc. was by far the most professional - and with our goals and budget, we didn’t want to take any chances by trying to cut corners. We wanted to do it right. Bryon listened to what we wanted in our outdoor living space, asked relevant questions and took lots of detailed notes. He came back with a design that really impressed us and was about 90% where we ended up after a few tweaks. The planning, scheduling and execution was exceptionally coordinated and there was hardly any downtime in the three-and-a-half weeks to complete the project. We’re now left with a beautiful outdoor living space that is comfortable, day or night, that both we (Mom & Dad) and our kids all enjoy every day. Despite our project and budget being larger, in the end, after all of the miscellaneous costs for materials, etc. - we were less than one-tenth of one percent over budget. This was due to Bryon keeping us in the loop throughout the entire process, making excellent recommendations when needed to cut costs, etc., etc. Bryon was always available by either phone or email and was quick to return calls. For us, that made the entire undertaking much less stressful. We would not hesitate to use them again.

We had an outstanding experience with Lindgren Landscape! Top quality work and professionalism, from design to installation. Mitch was our designer and also our point of contact through the whole project. He always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with every aspect of the project. His professional input and guidance was super valuable as well! The result is a beautiful new front & backyard landscape, as well as an awesome new deck / outdoor living space for us to enjoy. The landscape installation team was so easy to work with and always answered our questions or accommodated our changes on the fly. After building a new home, we brought Lindgren Landscape in to design a comprehensive landscaping plan for our property. Jamie worked closely with us, making sure that our preferences were known and included, and provided us with a very well thought out plan. From there, we discussed and decided with their help, what we should include in our first phase of landscape construction. Lindgren helped us decide what to include in "phase 1" and was mindful of our budget, as well as the Home Owner's Association's requirements. We quickly settled on a Phase 1 plan that met all needs. The landscape construction started on schedule, the work crews showed up everyday and worked continuously all day long. It was very easy to see the daily progress, and soon all of phase 1 was completed, and our yard was transformed from a house surrounded by fill dirt, to a home with real curb appeal! Through the entire process, Lindgren was involved in performing the work, or when they had to bring in a sub-contractor, they oversaw that the sub-contractors were on time, and delivered a quality product. During the project Lindgren kept the work site clean and clutter free. Toward the end of the project, Lindgren cleaned up the entire area - they even power washed the street in front of our house! Through the entire process, Lindgren Landscape's team was responsive and dedicated to our job . We will bring them back for other phases of our landscaping project. Jon and Sue

Lindgren recently completed the demolition of a rotting wood deck and massive paver-walled, 3-level, terraced garden that was crumbling and falling part. The entire process from the first email requesting a consultation to the very last sprinkler head adjustment was comfortable and remarkably incident free. We initially looked at Lindgren due to their high ratings on Houzz, and subsequently chose them for 2 differentiating reasons. One, that Jamie our designer was able to take our disjointed and vague ideas, and formulate a cohesive and beautiful design. The second was that we knew the size and scope of the project in its entirety was likely to be well beyond our budget. Jamie was the only consultant that offered a phased approach to the overall project, easing our minds on the financial aspect, yet able to keep the initial design we loved intact. Shane and his team showed up on time every day for several weeks, despite cold and windy weather, and always worked through the entire day (and at times into the evening to keep project on time). Any questions by the team during the build were brought to our attention, and were never completed based on assumptions without our input. Documented change orders with associated cost details accompanied all changes. The finished product; a paved patio with a beautiful moss rock border and Rocky Mountain landscaping is beautiful and beyond anything that we could have imagined. Without a doubt I would recommend Lindgren Landscape.

From start to finish we have been nothing but pleased with Lindgren Landscape. Jill White, our designer for the project, listened carefully to our ideas and drew a design of the project that was pleasing to us all. She is a wealth of knowledge and an incredible resource. Her team of workers (Tyler, Juan and Drew) are wonderful and worked so hard for two days to make sure everything was finished to perfection. An extra benefit we appreciated very much was their follow-up. They kept checking in with us after the project was finished to direct us in caring for the newly planted tree and sod. We love Lindgren! We had one of the top landscape architects in Denver work up the initial design for our backyard, but they quickly realized when getting bids from Denver-area contractors that we’d be paying a huge premium for travel. This put the project significantly over budget, to the point we just couldn’t do it. They had never worked in Fort Collins before, but the head landscape architect had interned with Lindgren years ago. He knew that if there was any landscaping architect in Northern Colorado to complete their vision - it was Lindgren. Tim personally sat down with us and we combed through our budget to find ways to save on costs. To our delight, they were able to get the project back on track, and within budget! They did not have to take on a last minute project, but they did so and they didn’t treat us any differently than their own clients. We felt like we were a top priority.

First off I would just like to say that my experience with Lindgren landscape has been a great one! The team in general was a pleasure to work with and the final result was beyond my expectations. I started the design phase of this project back in September of 2019 working with Jamie McCarn. over the last 9 months and multiple design iterations, Jamie has been unbelievable to work with. She took my initial ideas on plants and trees that I wanted and with her design concepts enhanced everything to a point that it turned out better than I could have imagined. The whole Lindgren team from Tim and Jaime, to Matt and Cory have been so helpful through this process. I was made to feel apart of the process (and the team to be honest) and felt like my input was always valued, put at the forefront and the team continually surpassed my expectations. I am more than pleased with the final results and would whole heartedly give my recommendation to anyone interested in working with Lindgren landscape.

The work performed by Georgia Perry and her team was exceptional. They were professional on every level, from the first phone call I made all the way through installation. Every single individual in the company I had the privilege of working with was extraordinarily friendly, courteous and proficient. Georgia was incredibly adept at finding solutions within my tight budget without compromising the overall finished product in any way. Our experience with Lindgren Landscaping was better than a 10! Jamie was so easy to work with, professional and very responsive to all of our needs and requests. Everyone who worked on the job was very professional, friendly, and did an excellent job. Once the job was completed they did a great job cleaning up the site. Every week since completion they have stopped by to make sure there were no issues. I would recommend them to anyone needing landscape design and build.

Lindgren did a complete overhaul of our builder basic back yard and also added some shrubs, perennials and boulders to the front. Jamie, the designer, has a great sense of design and is very easy to work with. She is sensitive to your budget (this is not cheap!) and worked with us to reduce costs while maintaining aesthetics. She was very responsive when one of the large spruces failed within a few months and again this spring when we asked for warranty replacement of the few shrubs that did not make it through the winter. I would definitely recommend them, but also advise homeowner to be home during the work. Questions and issues invariably arise and you want to be there when they do.

We are very excited to begin using all of our backyard now that Lindgren has completed their work. The entire project from the initial meeting (standing in a sea of dirt and mud) to the finished install, was organized, well managed, and completed on schedule. Lindgren is a highly professional organization that strives to be attentive to homeowners' needs, timeline, and budget. The crew was always courteous and cleaned up each day. Quality of the construction (whether you are talking about the patio pavers, the pavilion, or the garden boxes) was excellent. Plant choices were healthy and the installed sprinklers work as they should. Lindgren interfaced well with our chosen supplemental vendors (e.g., the speaker company). We highly recommend LIndgren.

Lindgren Landscape and Irrigation is an amazing organization that I was lucky to have hired for a challenging landscaping situation; I didn't want any plants that I would have to maintain, if any at all! To that, I had a bronze statue that needed to be taken off it's pile of unseemly rocks and re-established into the new landscaping design plan. Georgia Perry, one of the most gifted designers every to cross my path, was in charge of the landscaping plan. It was extensive. They scraped the front of both sides of my southwest home down to the dirt and recreated a look that when people drive by and see it, out come the IPhone cameras. Because we have 3 foot walls and tall gates around our house, Georgia repeated the look with 15" walls, incorporated huge boulders and had 5 tall, metal, Agave Plants manufactured and placed artistically around the walls and boulders. They are gorgeous. The statue was elevated within a low-wall wall structure, which incases rock that she sits upon and blends perfectly into its very secure location.. For a backdrop, she had the crew plant Heavy Metal Blue Switch grass on both sides. It is the perfect combination of simplicity, creativity, and beauty...all coming harmoniously together. Establishing the above took men with both the grit and brawn to handle the hard work, and yet have a delicate hand when it came to handling a very heavy stature. They were flawless. Not a scratch on this enormous bronze. I can not recommend Lindgren company and crew highly enough. Prompt, efficient, and courteous, they have a unique quality you rarely if ever find in a company this size; they listen. They listen to what you envision and work to achieve as close to perfection as they can get. They don't intrude on your plan, insisting on what they imagine for you or railroad you with extra costs that you don't need or can't afford. I already have plans to use them again and anyone reading this, and thinking over and over, "Who can I hire," should hope they in the vicinity of this incredible organization and hire them.

We have been extremely pleased of the whole team of Lindgren, beginning with great design by Jamie. The Lindgren professionals who installed our landscape were very thoughtful down to the smallest detail. As the project was being installed, we had opportunity to provide input and we were happy with their overall work. Special thanks goes to Adam, Jay, Ted, Matt, Dillon, Zach and Marcus. What has also been very reassuring is the willingness of Lindgren and their management team to immediately respond to our needs and questions after the project was completed. Not only did the team landscape the front and back beautifully, but they worked seamlessly with our back of home construction crew who was installing an extended roof line over our deck. Lindgren was extremely professional and knowledgeable. They were problem solvers and communicated with the most gentle yet thorough follow through. Each day the job site was left clean and contained so the neighbors never had unsightly debris left about. They also kept to the desired schedule and things did not linger on beyond the time scope. All plant materials were of the most beautiful quality and time was made to insure trees and all plantings were planted facing optimum positioning. Wonderful experience. Georgia used both University degree skills and natural intuition and skills to design exactly what we wanted while working with the property's potential. Large excavation and dirt work was necessary to complete the look we needed and wanted and it could not have been done more skillfully by Eric & Matt based on Georgia's design. This was a challenging job and we interviewed 3 other firms and paid for 2 other designs before finding Lindgren Landscape who immediately developed confidence in their ability to design to our needs and confidence in how the project's implementation would proceed. Locally owned as well. I am not related nor personal friends with Lindgren. This is an independent true customer's experience.

I hired Lindgren Landscape to design and build my side and rear yard of my new home. From the very beginning they were professional, prompt and thorough. My budget was rather modest and they agreed to do it in two phases which was very helpful. I love the end result of phase one and look forward to finishing phase two in the spring.

Tim, Jamie and the entire crew were wonderful to work with through the entire process.
