The Kitchen Loft

Peter and his team at TKL were excellent to work with. Peter designed our new kitchen and we couldn't be happier with the result. Allison assisted with picking the colours, countertop, and finishes, as well as the backsplash tile. She even went so far as to meet us at the tile shop to help with making our selection. We really appreciated that level of service. Chantal coordinated the job and was always very helpful. Whenever anything came up during the build, Peter and Chantal were very professional and provided options for us. We would recommend TKL for your kitchen renovation!

We renovated our kitchen, mudroom and laundry room with The Kitchen Loft and we are really happy with the results. The quality of work and materials is excellent. The contractors were all really great to deal with -- super helpful, considerate and responsive. Once they got started there was really no downtime, so we weren't waiting in a construction zone with nothing going on. They were able to line up the work quite seamlessly. I would say it all went better than expected from start to finish, and we absolutely LOVE our new kitchen, laundry room and mudroom.

Kitchen Loft redesigned our pantry. Peter put a lot of thought into designing it with everything we needed. Although there were a few “hiccups”, Kitchen Loft worked with us until it was perfect.

The team at The Kitchen Loft renovated our bathroom, and we’re in love! Jerome and Laura helped us achieve our desired look/design while remaining within our budget. Once work began, the project management was top notch. At the end of each day, we’d receive notification of what trades were coming the following day and at what time. They were 100% accurate — every person who was supposed to arrive on a particular day did, and at the exact time as reported. Everyone who came into our home was friendly, polite and kind. They took utmost care to protect parts of our home that were in their travel path. They even took our gallery wall pictures down because they noticed they could become damaged while moving up and down the stairs. The quality of work is fantastic and we are so happy with the final product. We definitely recommend The Kitchen Loft and we are planning on working with them on our next project.

When we finally decided to reno our kitchen and Living Room we picked the right company. Meeting with Jerome and Peter we came up with a plan, and Peter designed a great layout. Both were very personable and easy to work with. They were always quick to respond to any questions and not only share ideas and thoughts but listened to ours. All the trades people were hard working but not only that, they were very friendly and professional always cleaning up after themselves when they were done each day... which was appreciated. Gabe who oversaw the crew did a great job as well making sure things were going as planned. Going without a kitchen for a few months was meaning to thinking outside the box but totally worth it. We would 100% recommend them and will connect with them in the future for new projects.

I am in love with my new kitchen, it is so beautifully designed and super functional for my family. Peter and his crew were excellent to work with, they listened to what I was envisioning and designed something beyond my wildest dreams!! I will definitely be recommending these guys to friends!! COGS and SWO were absolutely amazing to work with. Love my new kitchen and bathroom!! The team has years of experience, knowledge, expertise and are with you every step of the way from design to completion. I was a little overwhelmed with the thought of what was involved in a full renovation of our kitchen and bathroom at the same time. That quickly disappeared and they made the entire process enjoyable! They were there for every question, email and text….and I had a lot. Thank you Jerome, Peter, John, Jeremy and George. Peter de Gelder came to me on the recommendation of a neighbour and friend. I liked and trusted him immediately. So much so I was able to comfortably go on five weeks vacation and leave him and his team to it. In the beginning I had a general idea of the renovations I wanted for my kitchen and living area but needed help with the specifics. I loved his designs, and his assistance with all my selections was invaluable. He explained everything precisely and clearly. I valued his suggestions and recommendations and couldn’t be more delighted with the finished product. He accepted my changing mind as the project progressed with patience and made the changes without hesitation. The entire team were pleasant, professional, considerate, and reliable. They showed up when they said they would, cleaned up after each stage and completed the job according to the schedule. My new kitchen is everything I wanted and more. Overall an absolute A1 experience.

We worked with COGS Design and SWO Build on a large kitchen, main floor, lower level and upstairs redesign and renovation. The team did an outstanding job! The combination of design, build and decorating consultation made for a seamless project. We are delighted with the results and plan to use the team on a final, smaller project in the coming months.

It was a pleasure working with Peter on a renovation project for our home that involved moving the kitchen from the front of the home to the back of the home. We were impressed with Peter's design and his work ethic to get us a great price.
