I am very happy that I chose Total Spaces Design to help me finish my kitchen design. I was totally overwhelmed by my choices for back splashes, flooring and wall color. Eleanor reduced my choices to a handful of each after seeing photos of my kitchen. I was able to make a selection for each of the items as we compared samples in my kitchen and assessed how the lighting and textures would harmonize with my cabinets, counter tops and appliances. The installation work was fantastic. Great attention to detail in fit and finish and all within the budget I had established. I highly recommend Total Spaces Design.

My husband and I hired Total Spaces Design to turn our old laundry room and half bath into a full bath and laundry space for us. They came up with a design that neither of us had thought of and were even able to work in my need for additional storage. We were able to cut some cost by using cabinetry from second use; once Bruce was done "fixing up" the old cabinets you could never tell they were second use! I was extremely impressed with the carpentry skills of their team and their customer service. Our dogs were well cared for during the day; always getting extra cookies and loves while the guys worked. I enjoyed being able to play a role in selecting tile, counter tops and fixtures for the laundry room and bathroom. The counter tops we selected really pull each room together. We were able to stay on budget and within the allotted timeline with this project. I am now left with an amazing second full bathroom for our growing household and a laundry room that I enjoy spending time in! We enjoyed working with Total Spaces Design so much that we also hired them to upgrade our other bathroom and give the family room a face lift!

Total Spaces Design helped me with an extensive remodel which included a new kitchen, bathroom and a reconfiguration of interior spaces. Eleanor and Bruce were able to keep costs down by utilizing salvage materials where appropriate.

Half way through my remodeling, I met Eleanor. Not only I rely on her talent and creativity for interior, she also gave me advise on many things that she noticed along the way....such as when I wanted to buy a SMEG refrigerator from UK, she researched on wall plug requirement and local maintenance availability....things that never accrued to me, yet very crucial before the purchase. Another example is the electrical panel box on the kitchen wall. My other designer said I could hang a picture over to cover it. But Eleanor told me, By law, I can not cover it, however I can paint and make it a chock board for my to do list......Eleanor has so many brilliant ideas flow out effortlessly which would cost us millions to learn ourselves. My point is that she is not only a genius designer (see where she was from you will know), she knows so much beyond design as well. If I ever have a project again, she is the person I will go to!

I had my house painted. I knew what color I wanted, however, to descrive it and find is a whole other story. This company really connected and listened to what I wanted. They found the exact color I was wanting. I think that is the most difficult aspect of painting the house. They cleaned the outside of my house in detail, making sure the new paint would go on clean and nicely so that it will last a very long time. This company was very respectful of my family, my yard, and my house. I am so glad that I hired this company, I now know I will use this company always in the future. They seemed very knowledgeable about paints, siding, and all the details. They kept in the budget and met the deadline, very professional. The job they did was the most professional job I have ever seen. My house looks absolutely beautiful, I love the color, love the paint job.

Thanks to the creative and resourceful vision of Eleanor Olsen, my mid 18th century Dutch Colonial now has a 21st century master bathroom. Walk in shower, tile, heat - oh yes, truly warm heat - with a classic look befitting this historic grand old home.
