Trudie is brilliant, patient, creative, and fabulous! We hired Trudie to assist us with an entire home design and worked closely with her for about 18 months as we selected floor coverings, furniture, art for the walls, and artistic decor to make our new house the home of our dreams. Trudie presented us with a handful of options for each space then patiently answered our questions, adjusted items if needed, and offered seamless support throughout the entire process of ordering, delivering, assembling, and installing each piece. Trudie and TruNorth were great to work with. There we some project delays due to supply chain issues but Trudie was great at keeping us informed as to where our project stood. The end result is absolutely beautiful. Better than we had even imagined.

Trudie managed a complete renovation of our Eugene home. The project included both the interior and exterior of the house and lasted more than 2 years. The house was taken down to the studs in most rooms, and also involved some complicated (re)construction of the foundation to achieve our space goals. The end result, especially when viewed in contrast to where we started, is nothing short of astonishing. Of the many great things Trudie did, was keeping a remarkable balance in the design between livability, authenticity to the home's 1920 roots, and our budget throughout the process. Trudie, Luke, and their beautiful family are also just wonderful people and we were thrilled to work with them.

We turned to the team of Luke, the realtor, and Trudie, the designer to help us make our newly acquired house our home. We knew we had limits on our perspective and our knowledge of products and design. We also didn't know how long we would remain in this area of Oregon so we wanted market input - helping us make wise investments in each aspect of the necessary remodel. After initial consults we developed an appropriate game plan of room/space modifications. Then, Trudie gently guided us toward a style that we both appreciate and fit our unique personalities, desires, and lifestyle. Her exquisite taste and keen eye have helped us hone in on the major "feel" as well as the minute details necessary to tie all aspects of the design together. Her careful direction and selection of options has always been focused on the esthetic and function, balanced with maximum value - high quality/minimized cost. Typically acting as our contractor, she has brought in top-notch subcontractors in a timely manner - a feat made impossible during this building craze, were it not for her charm, grace, and persuasion with workers as well as us, her clients. When my spouse and I decided we could update our kitchen, I initially considered going to Jerry's or Home Depot to consult with their in-house designers. It's my nature to be budget-conscious, but after checking both places out I decided to ask around for some recommendations for my kitchen. I feel so fortunate that Trudie came highly recommended, and after a face-to-face, I was excited to work with her. Trudie is personable, professional, and incredibly gifted in interior design. She didn't blink when I gave her my budget constraints and I felt fortunate that she doesn't only work with high-end clients. Without a doubt, my kitchen update turned out SOOooo much better than if I had done it on my own, and it has surely enhanced the value of our home. Right off the bat, she came up with ideas and touches I wouldn't have thought of. Trudie listens well and is honest to tell you (in a kind way) if she doesn't think something will work, yet she gives leeway to make sure changes reflect her client's style. Projects during this pandemic can be challenging, but Trudie is able to pivot and persevere. I feel grateful for the final results. Trudie redesigned and renovated our master bedroom and bathroom. The old, out-dated design and layout was completely reconfigured to provide a greater sense of space, natural light and functional flow. Throughout the design process, Trudie was equal parts attentive to our considerations and completely understood what we wanted as a finished product. She offered her expert advice and collaborated with us, seamlessly incorporating our ideas. During the demolition and construction, she was ever present and professionally directed the process.
