Beautiful work at reasonable rates. We've invited Vertex back to our historic home several times to perform delicate work on 200-year old flooring, decorative woodwork, and similar needs. Jim has an eye for detail and cost-saving processes. He's very, very good. Highly recommended.

I've used Jim Fernen and Vertex twice now to build and install cabinetry, bookshelves and a TV cabinet in my family room. Jim went above and beyond in completing the job in a timely manner. He was able to make some serious construction flaws in my room appear as though they never existed. His attention to design, construction and even the most minute detail is excellent. I plan on using him again in the near future.

Put the finishing touches on a guest room, pantry and replaced doors in an upstairs hallway, including crown and baseboard molding in all the rooms refinished. His carpentry work is outstanding with attention to detail. Made sure his helpers stayed on task and cleaned up spotlessly a upon completion.. Cannot recommend him more highly.

Vertex Carpentry has worked both on the inside and outside of our home ~ from custom carpentry work to replacing our roof, siding and damage exterior woodwork, and a host of other jobs. Never - not once - were we unhappy with the work performed. We could always count on Vertex to arrive on time and, if returning the next day, they cleaned up leaving the area where work was being done spotless. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Vertex - and specificially, Jim Fernan, to anyone needing work done. Without question they are #1 in our book.

Commented: Will these tiles damage my hardwood floor?It very much depends on the type of adhesive used, as well as what type of flooring you have. A solid wood floor can ultimately be sanded if there is an issue. There is another consideration however. ...
