Vine Street Design

I could not be happier with the work Vine Street Design did for our home. I came to them after an old cast iron pipe in my 100 year old house cracked and leaked sewage all over my basement and laundry room. The space was already dark and dank - lots of exposed pipes, sagging ceiling, exposed concrete blocks, no lighting, random walls/cramped rooms with odd shaped closets. I dreaded doing laundry down there, so I asked VSD to help me reimagine the space. VSD listened to what was important to me, developed a few options that would work with the space and how we hoped to use the room. Once we landed on a concept, they then helped me to find quality contractors that could do the work, which was pretty extensive for just one room. We then transitioned into designing cabinetry. Given the cost of the construction, VSD worked with me to find options that were both beautiful and within my budget. The laundry room ("Mom Cave") is now one of the most beautiful rooms in my house, and I thank VSD for that. I was consistently impressed with their design / construction knowledge, creativity, and high quality, beautiful aesthetic. Beyond that, they are also delightful to work with (both professional and personable, great communication, always met the timelines they set). I look forward to working with them again on my next project! *As a side note, the house we bought had been previously remodeled by VSD - which was the main selling point. We saw first hand what gorgeous work they do, which is why we asked them for help with the basement.

We’ve known Greg for over 20 years when he first designed our master bedroom and bathroom project. When it came time to renovate our kitchen and to do a small addition, Greg and his talented team were a natural choice. Greg has an amazing attention to detail with a level of design integrity that is often lacking in residential work. He understood what we were looking to accomplish for our 1927 Tudor so that the new spaces would blend seamlessly with our vintage home. During the design process, Greg provided great options and was receptive to our desired level of detail. He and his team provided a great overall professional service for the architecture, the kitchen design and construction through O’Connor-Brehm Design Build. We are extremely happy with the outcome. To be sure, Greg is not the low cost service provider, but the value he provides is extraordinary and I would not hesitate to hire him.

Well done project. Went from a total gut of old kitchen to a new kitchen. A few glitches that delayed the project a few weeks and also unforseen issues with plumbing and electrical that required moving existing. All was handled and everything was done to our satisfaction. Minor communication issues created some problems that were all resolved to our satisfaction.

We would highly recommend Greg and his team. We worked with them for over a year on a custom home build. Greg completed our architecture design for the home as well as designed all the cabinetry layouts for the entire house. Greg was always extremely professional, responsive and timely with requests. His expertise and knowledge sets him apart from other contractors we have worked with. We are more than happy with how everything turned out in our home, thanks to Greg and his full team!

Vine Street Design worked with us start to finish on our recent renovation of our kitchen and bathrooms. They had a great selection of cabinets at a variety of price points. Additionally, they were able to provide custom color options for our kitchen. While we went with a more expensive model of cabinets for our kitchen and master bath, we selected lower priced models for our children's bathroom and guest bath. Regardless, we found the quality and craftsmanship to be excellent in either price point. The design process was seamless. We had series of meetings with the designers to ensure to flow and functionality, especially in our kitchen. We spent time discussing our cooking and storage needs, which the designers were able to incorporate when selecting accessories for our cabinets (i.e. built-in spice drawer rack, large cooking utensil storage, deep cabinets for pots/pans, pull-outs for our pantry, etc.). Throughout the process, communication was excellent and we were kept up to date on progress, price, and any other decisions that needed to be made. We're looking forward to working with VSD on future projects and would wholeheartedly recommend them to others.
