VMR Designs

VMR designs was founded 15 years ago by Vivian Smikle. A graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technology, Vivian is an admirer of all arts. She realizes the beauty in the structured as well as the abstract. Vivian began her career working for several fashion houses and financial firms before discovering her passion for interior design. These beginnings gave her the continued desire to pursue design, but also educated her in the world of business. Upon graduation she relocated to Florida and accepted a position for the largest design firm in South Florida. Quickly moving up in the firm to design her own model homes and country clubs she found herself wanting to design for clients on a more personal level. Moving on to a smaller high end design firm, Vivian thrived and found her niche in the design business. After many years she established her own design firm to continue working with clients to create a level of sophisticated luxurious homes. Her designs reflect her clients personalities and lifestyles. Her belief is that the design process should be a partnership of great collaboration to achieve the ultimate designer home. From the most casual beachfront home to the most sophisticated residence.
