Slate Ridge Homes

My wife and I approached Slate Ridge Homes in the spring of 2018. We chose Slate Ridge because we were impressed with the quality of the homes that were built by them within the area where we live. Gerry Holzapfel assessed the scope and timing of this project and offered us the opportunity to make this his 2019 Parade of homes home given our permission. During this project Gerry was quite easy to work with and was quite attentive to all details with respect to both quality and keeping the project on schedule! Gerry was very good in keeping all sub-contractors on task while constantly inspecting their quality of work. Gerry often spotted things that we missed or if we spotted a problem on our own, Gerry was most often already in the process of a remedy! Gerry and Kat were also quite helpful in guiding us in the selection of materials, finishes and color schemes throughout the project. We also appreciated Gerry's guidance in keeping us within our budget! This project was completed ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend Slate Ridge Homes to anyone that is considering building a new home!

We walked through many builders homes as they were being constructed in our area over a 4 year period. We decided to use Slate Ridge Homes based on what we saw in the quality and detail work of Slate Ridge Homes compared to the other builders homes under construction. Our home was a custom built 3,200 sq ft house with pool and 2,400 sq ft garage for our cars, rv & toys. Gerry was very easy to work with. He walks you through the process from beginning to end helping you make those hard to decide decisions you encounter along the way, never getting impatient with you. He truly loves what he does and it shows. Gerry's attention to detail is what sold us on Slate Ridge Homes, it's incredible. By the time we noticed anything that needed his attention, he had already taken care of it. Gerry's wife Kat works right along side Gerry and helps with choices in colors, tile, fixtures, lighting, flooring and anything else you want her to help with.
