Our renovation project was to transform our dated 1980s home by opening up our disjointed kitchen, sunroom, and dining areas, to create a modern, expansive, and functional layout for cooking, dining, and entertaining. The renovations we wanted involved removing walls to create an open layout and the installation of skylights for more natural light. It also included full floor replacement and refinishing, custom cabinetry and millwork, modernized lighting, a new resized window, a new kitchen island, plus other assorted upgrades. Will delivered a comprehensive proposal upfront, featuring a detailed budget, a working layout, and an aggressive but realistic schedule. This project was exceptionally well-managed from start to finish. Daily activities were planned out well ahead of time. There were daily checkpoints to ensure the project stayed on schedule, and that change orders were promptly incorporated. Will kept us updated with a detailed Houzz timeline, and the team operated like clockwork—starting on time, cleaning up daily, and ensuring no downtime. The project was completed on schedule, with expenditures aligned within Will's original projections. Will and his team flawlessly executed our vision for a bright, open, and modern space. It is not only beautiful, seamlessly integrated, but also highly efficient, featuring even more storage than before! You cannot go wrong with Will and Matt doing your remodel project. After finishing our basement, our main floor felt outdated—so we hired Homework to modernize the space, and the results are incredible. They remodeled the kitchen, living room, bathrooms, and bedrooms, finishing on schedule and elevating the design far beyond what we imagined. At some point we realized the main floor of our home was just too small for our family. We collided in the kitchen prepping meals, bathrooms were worn, and living spaces out of style. It was time for a total makeover. While we met to evaluate several contractors, Will quickly earned our selection beginning with responsiveness and comments on our vision. Will and Pete did a wonderful job converting our builder grade kitchen into a new modern kitchen. They were very communicative throughout the whole process on everything from quotes, to cabinet, to countertops, to tiles, to lighting, to every aspect of the remodel. They understood what we were looking for and created a wonderful new kitchen for us that had all the elements to make it a very updated and functional kitchen. They worked hard and efficiently to get the old kitchen removed and install/build all of the elements of the new kitchen. I really like the new island they designed and built to help maximize our space. I highly recommend them for any of your house projects. Amazing work.

These guys are great to work with -- laid back in interactions, exacting on details, and good communicators (plus all-around nice people). They moved a bathroom in our 100+ yo home and re-built the 2 adjacent bedrooms. They and their subcontractors did excellent and on-time work (including weird stuff like having to match ancient window trim, putting baseboard molding even in the closets, using original doors, and finding HVAC solutions to accommodate our "interesting" furnace setup -- none of which threw them for a loop). They worked diligently to stay within budget and kept everything as tidy as possible. For an indication of the quality, check out the pic of the lip of the shower -- the matched tiling work still wows me. (I wish I had before photos, because the change is dramatic.) We highly recommend them and would use them for any future projects.

Will and Pete of Homework did an outstanding job on, our home remodel. The remodel consisted of a complete reworking of the kitchen and master bath. They completed the work on time and kept us fully informed on the job status and costs. This was a major project as our home was older and needed significant updating. They were on site for several weeks and our neighbors commented on how clean they kept the work site each day. My wife and I cannot be happier with the way the final project turned out.

Will & his team skillfully executed my vision for our hall bath update. Hired after a botched start with another contractor, they jumped in to save the situation.
