You would not recognize our home after they completed remodeling our first floor. The kitchen is beautiful. The flooring and lighting are very high quality. The designing concepts were outstanding.

MR Morteza, I want to send you a very special thank you for the work you did on our kitchen. You were gracious to work with and generous with your time. You brought your expertise and understanding to our project and our confusion, you brought something else that is often lacking today-and that is enthusiasm. Two stars is generous. Starts off strong, Morteza Sharif seems interested and knowledgeable. I told him during our first conversation that we had a very specific budget for a kitchen remodel (close to what Angi estimates for our area). He came out once to measure, brief visit. We made several trips to his showroom in Highland Park over the next several weeks. Every time reminding him that we had a top budget. He asks for $1000 deposit as a design fee, but says that fee will be applied to the cabinet purchase. Paid him the fee, he promised an A to Z remodel. then things fell apart. At our next visit he had our contract, which was just a couple page document. 30% higher than the top of our budget and it excluded many standard items in a kitchen remodel. When asked, he said it was our fault for picking cabinets and accessories that were too expensive. Nothing in the showroom has a price tag so how could we possibly know this. We picked item he showed us. It got worse after that. Told him we could not pay that and they tried to push different cabinets that we did not want. Then tried to exclude major parts of the job; demo, tile, electrical etc. Of course when I asked for our deposit back he said No because it was his design fee. When I asked for the design, he wanted $4000 more! Remember, we havenâ t seen Anything from them yet. I then offered on the phone to place a smaller order for just some cabinets and emailed him the ones I wanted. He has not returned that email. All the while he is telling us how we are great friends and it is his honor to work with us. This is still unresolved. I have seen nothing for my $1000. I think there is some financial difficulties over there. Very slow to return emails (another red flag). Very bad experience, use caution
