Yancy was a dream to work with. Our shared love of eclectic wallpaper and cooking allowed her to create the kitchen of my dreams. From ideation to implementation Yancy was the project champion and the best ‘construction therapist’ money can buy. Her sourcing skills, project management and ability to take my wishes and turn them into reality was amazing. She is an excellent designer and more importantly an all-around good human. I highly recommend her services and will absolutely engage her for future design projects.

Yancy was so easy to work with! She was responsive to my preferences and vision and offered options for our bathroom remodels that were budget-friendly. When I had questions, she was extremely helpful sharing her thoughts, but never in a pushy way...always professional and responsive. She's definitely your go-to for design!

We had such a wonderful experience working with Yancy. Because we were living out of town during the project, I was nervous about how everything would come together, but she handled every detail seamlessly. She has an incredible eye for design and made the whole process feel easy and enjoyable. Prior to working with Yancy I had no experience with using an interior designer so I relied on recommendations from friends on who to use. Yancy came highly recommended and immediately understood my design sensibilities and what look & feel I was trying to create with my house renovation. Generally, I don’t enjoy picking out furniture, paint colors etc. but Yancy took the time to understand what I wanted and really nailed it! Yancy was always available & responsive over the 8 month project and I am so, so happy with my new home furnishings, accents and the overall look & feel that I almost can’t believe how well it reflects the vision that Yancy helped me develop. One more thing, and this can’t be stressed enough…I have always heard that designers have no problem spending your money but with Yancy there was full transparency on pricing & budgets and ZERO nickel & dime-ing. I couldn’t be more pleased.

We sought Yancy's assistance to develop a design concept for renovating our house. She helped break my previous mold to find a new color pallet and overall look for our home which is just what I needed! I enjoy being hands-on and curating many of the project details myself, but Yancy served as a wonderful specialty resource and sounding board whenever I needed her insight and guidance.

I tell anyone that will listen that hiring Yancy and having her in my corner throughout my remodeling process was worth every penny of the investment!!! From designing the space, finding contractors, making choices on lighting, tiles, colors, fixtures and all the things, she saved me so much time and energy. Yancy truly understood my style (even when I didn't) and pushed me just enough out of my comfort zone to add elements I would have never considered without her! Yancy helped us design and decorate both our new apartment and then our house. She was so easy to work with and went above and beyond what your average “decorator” would do. She was especially helpful since we weren’t there on site for most of the time during the new builds. Picking items out online and not being present was pretty stressful but she couldn’t have made it go more smoothly. For both projects we came home to a finished (or practically finished) new apartment and new home and were very pleased!

Where do I begin? Yancy gave me the master bath and laundry room I had been dreaming of after collecting pictures on Pinterest for years. She was able to take all of my inspiration photos and transform my spaces into functional, dreamy rooms that I love to spend time in. When I couldn't find tile that I was in love with, she found it for me. When we ran into communication issues with our contractor, she initiated a resolution (and got one). When we weren't sure the mirrors we purchased were going to work with the space we had to work with, she made the time to come out within 24 hours to assess the situation and provide an easy, workable solution that we are more than satisfied with. She promptly responded to concerns and questions while the remodel was in progress, and she even took the time (more than once) to reassure me that the decisions made (both on color pallet and items chosen) would come together beautifully in the end. And they did! When the time comes for our kitchen remodel, Yancy will be our first phone call.

I purchased a home in Cody, Wy but my residence is in Washington state. I quickly found that I didn't know any contractors in Cody to work on the remodeling I wanted to do. Then I got Yancy's name from my realtor. I contacted her and she was off and running ! She handled everything from painting and colors, flooring, lighting, plumbing and furnishings and more. It was an incredible experience that left me with a lovely, warm and comfortable home to come to in Cody. I am very grateful for everything Yancy, thank you !

Our project necessitated a complete transformation of the space. The dingy, stuffy loft above the existing kitchen simply had to come down. The monstrous wood stove with long, long stovepipe, and heavy, rock setting had to come out. The dated cabinets and painfully low peninsula, along with an oversized bathroom complete with shower, had to go. How would we proceed? We really needed help! Yancy came to look at what we might do, and within minutes after listening carefully to our needs, our sense of style, and our budget, she began to make suggestions. Yancy was keen to allow us to offer our own thoughts, often validating one suggestion or another. But more often, without dismissing what we had suggested, she redirected our thinking to what became, clearly, the better solution. Everything from the geometry of the new, large windows to the size and positioning of the new island; everything from colors and style of cabinets to texture and design of counter tops; Yancy demonstrated her pleasant professionalism while remaining flexible and accommodating. Yancy realized the new space would forever live adjacent to the older living room, much open space connecting the two. She carefully imagined designs, spaces, textures and colors to create good transition between the old and the new. The result is remarkable. Yancy's assistance was invaluable.

Yancy designed my bathroom remodel. I was so very pleased that she is now designing my kitchen remodel and basement remodel. Her sense of style and space is elegant, edgy and practical. She is cutting edge and lovely. No project is too big or too small. I adore her and her work. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Working with Yancy on our whole-house remodel was a delight. The scope of our project was overwhelming, and she gave me the confidence and guidance to make hundreds of decisions about the kitchen, baths, bedrooms, living areas, furniture and even our exterior. Where I had particular needs, she found the resources to answer them. When I had nothing in mind, she was able to pull together options for me that were creative, interesting, and harmonious with the whole project. As a single guy running my own business, the task of designing and furnishing a new home inside and out was daunting. Yancy helped me from the very beginning and as the project grew, so did Yancy's scope of work. She always communicated very well and made efficient use of her time. Yancy's expertise with with colors, textures, furniture, and design is top shelf! I would not hesitate to recommend Yancy Interiors to anyone no matter the scale of the project.

Yancy was wonderful to work with throughout the entirety of our project from concept to implementation and the final touches. She made a point to understand our own personal taste in order to help us design a space that felt like our own. Yancy also made herself available when we needed it, (tile orders gone wrong) which helped keep our project on track. Without her help, I do not think our project would have turned out as well as it did; her input and guidance was invaluable!

Having absolutely no artistic talent or background, not knowing which end of the hammer or screw driver to hold on to, I am probably the least qualified person to under take a significant remodel project. The project was to include substantially modifying the floor plan of half of the house to better capture the view, tearing out walls and putting several smaller walls in place with the effect of opening up the family room, dinning room, kitchen and living room as one big room incorporating all of the functions of each of the mentioned rooms. So i definitely needed help to remodel my 1960-70s home. Fortunately I quickly learned that choosing a highly professional designer and an experienced thoughtful contractor are truly critical to the undertaking of a any house construction or remodel. I had known of Yancy's intelligence, talents and skills for a long time but when I heard she had made her determination to become an interior designer, I knew she would be very good at this profession. She confirmed my conclusion immediately. She approached my project thoughtfully with concern for my my vision and the knowledge of how to make it a reality with a beauty and functionality that i never imagined could happen to my house. Yancy is patient, a devoted listener, an excellent communicator with a remarkable penchant for detail (eg. budgeting and punctuality regarding deadlines). She developed and maintained an effective and timely communication line with the general contractor regarding decisions on paint colors, floor finishes, cabinets and cabinet hardware, electrical and plumbing fixtures and as well as many other of the fine details of the interior decorating. Yancy's professionalism was also revealed in the remarkable level of research, sketching, drawing, planning and coordination of her work with the other trades and professions working on the project. For example, my house is blessed with a grand view of Shoshone Canyon, Rattle Snake Mountain, Trail Creek Valley, Red Butte, Monument Hill and Heart Mountain. With Yancy's talent and appreciation of Cody's natural beauty, she was able to incorporate and meld the external colors and textures with the interior design creating a bright, colorful, yet relaxing environment. She, perfectly, brought the outside inside, which was my goal. Though she was quite busy throughout the job Yancy was always available in a reasonable time and then quite calm, attuned to our goals for the conversation and well prepared. At all times i felt that she was giving my project the best of her talents, skills and education! I can confidently advise anyone interested in a construction or remodel project to connect with Yancy at the out set of planning and to seek her advices through the project! We recently undertook a major renovation project in our house here in downtown Cody. While our contractor had laid out the basic footprint of the new bathroom, closet and master bedroom expansion and guest bath renovation, we wanted help refining the details of the new and renovated spaces. Ours is an old house built in 1911 and we wanted to stay true to its character but not sacrifice modern conveniences. A mutual friend suggested that we contact Yancy Bonner of Yancy Interiors for help with the project. We met with Yancy at our house to show her the areas where we needed her help. She immediately grasped what we were trying to accomplish and it was clear that we had found the right person to work with. Within a few days, Yancy had provided us with design suggestions for each space as well as tile, fixture and lighting recommendations. Her experience with older houses and her talent with color and design gave us just what we were looking for. Also, as we were not in Cody while the renovations were happening, Yancy worked well with our contractor and helped us by providing another set of local “eyes on the project.” We love the results we achieved with Yancy’s expert help. We are in our second project with Yancy. The current project is a full remodel of a small home which we will be occupying as our retirement home. The scope includes a complete kitchen redo, a full basement finish including a new bathroom and some storage and multi use areas that are presenting some interesting challenges. In the living room a fireplace will be relocated and refaced and new windows will be placed where the fireplace currently is located. Yancy has met with us several times to hear our needs and wishes and to provide initial ideas for color schemes, cabinet design, flooring and general advice to have a finished project that is cohesive and high functioning. Yancy is always open to hear out our concerns and thoughts and draw from them to provide design ideas. She is flexible in incorporating our perspectives and a master at creating a design that both incorporates our needs/desires and develops a beautiful, functional end result. Yancy is actively involved with suppliers and our contractor to assure a seamless process.

What started out as a consult for paint colors ended up being a total design project. My husband and I originally sought the help of an interior designer in Billings, MT, but after realizing the logistical difficulties associated with a company located 90 miles from where we live, we decided to take a chance on a new, local designer. We came away from our initial meeting with Yancy confident that she could assist us with paint colors and so much more. Her expertise helped us navigate every step of the design process, and we had fun doing it! Yancy brought an exciting energy to our main floor remodel, and we knew our project was in very capable and professional hands. Throughout the entire remodel, Yancy took the time to listen to our needs and find her role in our project while being respectful of our budget. She allowed us to do much of the sourcing/shopping ourselves, and she provided guidance and honest opinions on items we found prior to purchasing. Yancy was always available to offer help and direction whenever something came up that needed immediate attention. She was attentive, flexible, and professional, and she always had our best interest as her priority. Yancy was able to make every step a much more pleasant and less anxious experience. She was very easy to work with and always kept the big picture in mind. Yancy helped guide us through the many decisions to achieve the final project we both love! We are eternally grateful for her expertise, and we would not hesitate to work with Yancy again.

Our master bathroom needed a makeover. We were frustrated with the lack of space/poor use of space and how outdated every part of our bathroom seemed. When I walked into our master bath, all I could see was what was wrong with it. I couldn’t imagine any arrangement of this space in a new way. My husband and I engaged the services of Yancy Dearinger Bonner at Yancy Interiors + Home to help us create a new space. Yancy spent time talking with us, getting to know us, looking at each room in our house, listening to us describe what we would like and the elements that nurture us and make our space a home. Yancy designed a master bath for us that far exceeded our expectations. Her design was on point, thoughtful, reasonable, and exactly what we hoped for. We have a master bath that is spacious, elegant, and functional, including cabinet space we were sorely lacking. We have many more home projects to look toward, and Yancy will be the first person we call. Her work is excellent and we would highly recommend her!
