North Design

We were unbelievably happy with the re-design and landscaping to the front of our house! Werner is extraordinarily talented and has an amazing eye. He did an excellent job of listening to our ideas and needs, and created a whole new outdoor living space for us! He is very enthusiastic about what he does, is extremely creative, cost conscience, fun and a pleasure to work with! He richly deserves 5 stars!

North is incredibly special! Werner is a true design genious who focuses on creating experience rather than simple aesthetic. I hired North to design my bedroom, a room in my house that I tend to struggle with the most because I'm not in it all the time so it's generally an afterthought. But, I'm always so envious when I walk into other people's well designed bedrooms and I'm hit with a cozy warm and calming feeling. So I hired North to do just that! There was incredible attention paid to detail and an expertise that made it easy to trust design decisions even if I couldn't visualize the end look in my head. That said, Werner can really paint a picture so there were few times where I couldn't see the vision coming to life. The end result was my dream bedroom! It's stylish but wildly comfortable and peaceful. Most importantly I feel at home and at ease every time I step inside. It's like my own little sanctuary and I couldn't be happier! With such success with my bedroom, I've recently hired North to redesign the next most important room in the house...the kitchen!

I discovered North Design when I saw a friend's remodel. It was beautiful, tasteful and unique. I met with Werner Mayes, and saw that he "got it". He's got a great vision, and he understands the big picture. He is truly talented and will work with your budget and lifestyle. I recommend him highly and would (and will) work with him again. North Design was highly recommended to us through friends, and as soon as we met Werner, we knew why. Within hours of our first meeting, he had sent us ideas that were perfect for our needs and asthetic. Everything came in on time and within our budget. What I appreciated most about Werner was his innate ability to create the perfect home for us and our style without imposing his own. He was also incredibly considerate of our two young children while the work was going on - everything was always clean and everyone who he brought on was trustworthy. We have since recommended North Design to, pretty much everyone we know and they all love him and everything he's done for their own homes. We were ready to move before Werner reshaped our home into a place that we love (and anyone who comes over!).
