Woodland Horizon Ltd

We used Woodland Horizon for kitchen and general cabinet design, manufacture and installation. Their design has left us with a dysfunctional kitchen. The manufacture and installation of cabinetry was adequate after several recalls and additional cost. The service we received was begrudging. We would not recommend.

Woodland was great to deal with. They spent the time with us to listen to our requirements and delivered a quality product. They provided several samples to ensure it met our needs before proceeding with the build. Marvin and the rest of the Woodland team did a great job and a quality install. I would use them again.

We first discovered Woodland Horizons through the Houzz app, and as we had never approached a project in this manner, we were skeptical as to whether this was the correct avenue in which to source contractors or renovation services. After reading the many positive ‘Woodland’ reviews, we sent an email asking them to contact us. The very next day, we received a phone call from the company, and when we explained that we were hoping to do a kitchen reno at our 70s log home, it was suggested that we meet with Marvin Martin, a member of their Sales Design Team, as he had a special interest in log homes. From our very first meeting onward, Marv absolutely was the perfect choice as he was truly devoted to ‘marrying’ a brand new kitchen with the integrity of the existing style of our Scandinavian scribed-log home. During the initial meeting, he spent time looking at the inspiration pictures we had chosen, as well as being present in the actual space, measuring and taking pictures of his own as we discussed the vision for our future kitchen. Throughout the process, Marv was very responsive to our questions and very clear on what we needed to provide to ensure this project was a success. We got value out of every consult time with him, and the whole process was fantastic. Marvin brings a balance of passion and professionalism that creates true confidence in the relationship. Woodlan Horizon planned and installed our kitchen cabinets, laundry rooom, bathroom and new staircase. The workmanship and quality was excellent and the crew were great and very professional. From start to finish, a very personalized process. Marv turned our bathroom vanity vision into a reality. For someone with very high attention to detail, my expectations were exceeded. Have not yet gotten the countertop for the vanity (planning on making myself) but the cabinets are not something you would ever find in store. We are now thinking of and considering what other house projects/builds we would like Woodland Horizon to helps us with. Quality workmanship is the best marketing, in my opinion!

As exceptional as are all these reviews, the most remarkable fact is that not one is an overstatement. 'Impressive', is actually an understatement. More accurate a description would be ". . . exceeds all expectations", most especially in design and craftsmanship, but as importantly, in every aspect of their business dealings and pleasing personal manner. From the design and management of Marlin, to the superb carpentry of Tristan, the renovation of our kitchen became a transformation far beyond our hopes! The review that sold us on Woodland Horizon summed it up with the opening sentence – "Don't look any further, you've found the best", which was immediately obvious the moment we stepped into their showroom. None of their numerous competitors' displays we reviewed was comparable and indeed, our kitchen renovation mirrors that precision artisanship! Do your 'due diligence' and check out the competition and you will discover Woodland Horizon is not only the best, but also, far more value for your money!

Complete kitchen, workers respectful clean, great to work with. The only comment I have to pass on is the request of the kick plate which is about 22 inches , it would complete the look . We will request it shortly and pay for it. However we felt that something like that added as an after thought probably could have been done without charging us 35 dollars as we did spend over 40 thousand. We found that a wee bit cheap.
