Wright Way Builders Contracting

After 4 estimates, we chose Wright Way Builders in Signal Hill. We bought a 1929 Spanish Colonial in the Historic area of Wrigley neighborhood in Long Beach, CA. There had been no updates to this property since the 70's. So as soon as we bought the house we started plans for renovations. Wright Way wasn't the cheapest nor the most exspensive bid. We chose them based on reviews, and after meeting the General Manager Hiladio. He really knows his stuff. He is passionate about his work and I really liked how he put together an exspense report for the estimate. I felt secure with this where as every one else simply gave a price estimate. The project stayed on budget and with any changes, they would create a change order request. They also use the Buildertrend app, and as the project goes along you make payments . Like any renovation , there will be delays, mistakes, problems etc. I was very happy that Wright Way responded with any complaint or dissatisfaction and fixed it. I have many friends who have reported nightmare stories about contractors not finishing the job, etc. So my greatest compliment is that they will change, or fix anything you are unhappy with. We had our bathroom and kitchen done at the same time. They had to replace the bathroom plumbing, and upgraded the electrical panel. The electrician did a great job, the recessed lights, the pendants, the outlets, the upgrade..all came out very nice. The kitchen cabinets were custom reclaimed wood, and are perfect for our kitchen. The painters did a great skim job of drywall and ceilings and a beautiful job with the textured style we wanted in the bathroom. All the tile work looks fantastic as well. Our project manager was Donald, and even though we had a few glitches in communication between him and sub contractors, in the end..all my expectations were met. We love both rooms and are very happy.

The best contractor experience I've had. The work is great, prices were fair and included a detailed scope of work which helped in tracking cost and managing budget. Anything outside the scope was reasonable. I won't use any one else for contract work. Professional and reliable. They completed a kitchen remodel and bathroom remodel for us.

We were referred to Wright Way Builders by a friend and we hired them for a bathroom remodel. The team was always on time, they arrived at the same time every day, they were respectful of our house and they were clean. Everyone that we encountered during the project was polite. And, any issues that came up were addressed and resolved. This was our 3rd major remodel and in general remodels are stressful. Things will come up that need to be addressed and delays happen. It is important to hire a contractor who is patient and responsive. We would definitely work with them again.

Wright Way Builders is great! I got burned pretty bad with some other contractors so I came into the experience extremely wary but they made the experience as painless as possible. They remodeled my bathroom/master closet and it is so beautiful! I always felt like I had someone to talk to and Donald/Ed/Helladio answered all my questions in a timely manner. I truly felt like they all cared and I appreciated that so much. The prices are reasonable and the work is great. If you need someone to work on your house then all you need is Wright Way!

We worked with Wright Way to add a shower to an existing half bathroom. We're very happy with the quality of work they did and they were very easy to work with. They really "got" what we wanted and helped us execute our vision, so we're glad we went with Wright Way. Also, they were great about keeping the working area clean and they brought in a dumpster and porta potty. Overall very professional, good craftsmanship and we would work with them again.

Heladio is the best Project Manager with a great eye for detail. Santos is a master with tile work. Have used Wright Way for 2 bathroom remodels and we are always happy with the results.

I got off to a slow start with the contractors as they were scattered during the bid process and put off the construction start date by two weeks because of their schedule. Once they started, however, my project had their full attention and they finished my complete kitchen remodel in slightly less than 3 weeks. What really impressed me is how willing they were to correct problems that inevitably come up during the construction process and how reasonable the costs of the change orders were. Also, they cleaned up after themselves every day and I was not left with a mess to have to navigate. I love my new kitchen and would definitely use Wright Way Builders again!

Wright Way Builders installed new kitchen counter tops and back splash for us and it turned out great. Our designer was Chris and the project manager was Heladio; both of them were great. They kept me informed via texts and phone calls and held pretty close to the time line. It was a good experience and I would recommend them to anyone who is planning a remodel.

We have just completed a hall bathroom remodel and we couldn't be happier. Five weeks ago, we met with Mason, who matched our lowest bid and fit us into his schedule.Our PM Heladio, was great and listened to all our wishes and concerns. Although he wasn't here everyday, he texted regularly with updates and scheduling. Overall, he and his staff were very courteous and friendly. They always made sure to clean up at the end of each day.Our new bathroom is exactly what we asked for and we would not hesitate to recommend Wrightway builders for your next project.

To summarize our experienced: Great work, fast in and out gut /remodel job by wright way builders, finished ahead of schedule with great quality of work and professional. Very responsive! Yes would use them again!

I booked these guys based on their locality and good reviews. They completed a full bathroom re-model and did some extra work on a smaller guest bathroom. PROS: Mason delivered a comprehensive quote fairly quickly after his visit. Heladio the foreman was WONDERFUL at responding to our concerns during the build out. The job was finished on time for the most part although some extra requests and fixes meant it took longer than originally quoted. When we discovered that one of the new windows had a scratch it was re-ordered and installed at no further cost to us. CONS: This was the most expensive quote by several thousands based on the 3 we got BUT we got what we paid for in terms of craftmanship and service. Like all contractors you will need to keep your eye out for missed details HOWEVER when we pulled them up on little things that needed fixing this was corrected promptly. Overall I would recommend Wright Way Builders and I would use them again

Wright Way Builders came recommended to us by a colleague who just went through a renovation with them. Mason, the owner, came out to our property and looked at what we wanted to do and promptly gave us an estimate, which we thought was reasonable compared to other contractors we looked at. After the bid was accepted, we only communicated with Heladio, the foreman for the project. It was an extensive project, which included gutting 2.5 baths and a kitchen. The project was to take 3 months, but ended up taking 5-5.5 months in total. Most of the delay, however, was due to delay of the windows we ordered. The time frame also included final inspection and follow-up items to get passed inspection. Throughout the project, we did not come across any big surprises. We had two change orders throughout the entire renovation and because we felt they were reasonable, we went ahead with the changes. We enjoyed working with Heladio. He has great work ethics and is always professional. He always addressed questions and concerns we had either via email or phone. Although some things were done incorrectly, they were promptly fixed after we pointed them out. We are very happy with the overall quality of work – our kitchen and bathrooms came out beautifully done. We did a final walkthrough with Heladio prior to our final payment. The guys came back right away the following day to address the touch up finishes discussed during the final walkthrough. Overall, Heladio and his team did a great job on this project and we couldn’t be happier with our new home!
