We have officially been in our luxury home built with Your Homes for just over a year! We were so worried about what builder could take on the details of our vision and also be pleasant to work with and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Tim and his team always returned our calls, answered our questions and told us how we could make our dreams a reality. After looking at over 20 builders, one of the reasons we ultimately chose Your Homes is because they really do let you build the home, YOUR WAY. They are very flexible with the design, who you use as an architect, what goes in your home, everything. And they don't make you overspend by being forced to use their other products (for example, Engelsma who requires you to use their custom cabinets). Best of all they were able to pull off our winding staircase, indoor pool room, and accommodate our modern tastes. Thanks again to the team! We will consider you lifelong friends!

Building a home can be an extraordinarily stressful and challenging experience. Often you will hear stories about unexpected significant cost overruns, timing delays, substandard contractor performance, or any number of other difficulties and concerns that add uncertainty to the overall process. In working with Schollaart Builders, we did NOT have these type of issues that many others would say is "just part of the process." Tim and team go to great lengths to ensure that the homeowner is fully informed throughout the entire build, and when something does cone up, they WILL ensure it is quickly and effectively dealt with -- always to the customers satisfaction! They handle each facet of the construction with care, keeping an eye out to maintain the high level of quality work their reputation has come to be known for. We built our first home with Schollaart Builders in 2013. When the time came to upsize in 2017, there was no question who would be awarded that contract! Thank you Tim, Kate, and Team! We love our new home! Tim did an excellent job listening to our vision and then making it become a reality. Our home was completed on time and the quality of workmanship is outstanding. Also, Kate did an amazing job helping us pick out the finishes and we couldn't have done it without her.

I found Tim Schollaart Builders to do a great job. While his approach was different than I had previously experienced, it was thorough and very detailed. He does an amazing job on his schedule. I have never experienced a builder that manages the schedule as well as Tim did. We made a few changes along the way, but he always provided the cost impact to those changes prior to making them so we knew the impact to the budget. The entire team paid close attention to the details and quality. The quality of the workmanship was great. We have been in our home for eight months, and are really enjoying the fruits of Tim's labor. Tim did a great job managing the cost of our home. The cost were within 2% of the budget, which is fantastic. He did a great job, and if I were to build again, he would be at the top of my list. The real benefit of the Schollaart Buidling team is that Tim has his father and sister working with him. That team, along with their choice of sub's is a great combo.

Tim built us a beautiful home. We shopped many local custom home builders before hiring Tim. The process was smooth and easy. The attention to detail and the design process were definite strengths. Both Tim, his building crew, and his design staff were available to us whenever we had questions, and were patient and accommodating through my many last minute changes. Our neighbor who built with a competitor at the same time we did (one that we considered working with), even commented on how much smoother our process was and how much more involved our builder was. They expressed regret in not having hired Tim. Great experience all around and we will definitely use Tim Schollaart Builders in the upcoming years for our cottage.
