Zach Of All Trades

It was a truly amazing experience , working with Zach and his team. They were able to take my simple idea for my back yard and patio, and turn it into a unique and beautiful design. They took into consideration the natural lighting, traffic flow in the yard, and water access. They even took into consideration the size and shape of my existing furniture (that I had just bought, and really wanted to keep). All of this thoughtful work came in UNDER BUDGET. The work crew was efficient, on time and respectful, and were very detail oriented during clean up, too. I was really stressed that this project would be more trouble than it was worth, but am so happy with the result. Our backyard and patio is our favorite place to hang out, and we entertain on it every chance we get.

Zach and Leah are extremely professional. We’ve hired them 4 times for 2 different properties and they exceeded our expectations every single time. Can’t recommend them enough. Their top qualities , in my opinion, are: great understanding of client’s needs and expectations, precise budgeting, timely completion of work and quality of service.

Leah and Zach were wonderful to work with and I'm thrilled with my new land/hardscaping. Leah did an excellent job on the design and Zach made sure the project ran on (and even ahead) of schedule despite all of the supply chain issues we're currently seeing. We ran into a couple small hiccups, as can be expected with these types of projects, and they seamlessly proposed and moved forward with new options. I will certainly be using them again for my next project!

Zach and Leah were fantastic partners from start to finish with our backyard renovation. They took care to see through our vision, from big picture through the details. We had a pretty unique and small space to work with, and they found a way to fulfill our needs in every way.

Our landscaping needed a reboot and refresh this spring after we removed some large trees etc. Zach and crew did an awesome job and our yard looks fantastic! ZOAT did the landscaping for our back yard. They weren't the cheapest bid we got, but they weren't the most expensive either - and after the work they did, I feel like we basically robbed them. I've dealt with a ton of contractors and home repairmen recently as a consequence of buying a new house, and ZOAT is the *only* one so far to both start and finish the job when they said they would, communicate regularly and promptly, respond to questions, and generally treat me like more than a nuisance. When we couldn't find certain plants for our landscaping plan, they suggested alternatives in the same price range, and when I *really* wanted a particular type of tree, Leah moved heaven and earth to find some at a different nursery - they bent over backwards to make sure we were satisfied. And we haven't even gotten into the work! Every single part of our yard looks fantastic. ZOAT installed dozens of plants and trees, built wooden stairs and a bench, installed a drip watering system, and built the last remaining fence our yard needed. Absolutely top notch work, and again - I can't stress enough how great the service aspect of things was.

I had a great experience with Zach of All Trades and have recommended them to my friends. They offer a great combination of design services and construction services that suited my medium sized landscaping project well. Their workers were courteous with work hours, parking, etc and were relatively quiet which my neighbors appreciated. The project was completed on time and on budget and I have plans to hire them again in the spring for another project.

Zach of All Trades designed and installed our backyard and our front "flower bed." They did an amazing job. Our back yard was nothing but mud and weeds and now it is a peaceful (very Zen) xeriscape with areas of foliage and boulders and a winding path. Our front bed was overgrown and just a mess and now it is clean and uncluttered. Leah was able to discern my half-baked vision to create the design and Zach and his crew turned it into reality. They were easy to work with, really listened, made amazing suggestions, and did the work for a very reasonable price. For example, Zach looked at the stacked paver wall around our flower bed and asked if he could modify it with boulders. When it was done it was literally the talk of the neighborhood. In fact, neighbors came from all around to look at our front and back yards. Our favorite comment came from one neighbor who said that the changes had given the neighborhood some needed classiness. Prior to doing our yard, Zack of All Trades also did my son's front and back yards and created magic where there had been chaos. Therefore, I highly recommend Zack of All Trades.

Zack of All Trades met all of my expectations. The design was fantastic and the implementation was breathtaking. Working with Leah was a wonderful sharing of ideas. She took my thoughts, her expertise, and produced a wonderful design. She took a large barren area and made it beautiful. The colors, textures and plant varieties are awesome. All of the staff was courteous, helpful and hard working. I enjoyed the entire process. I couldn't be happier with the final result.
