Children’s bedrooms are enjoyable to decorate. Using a happy bunny print fabric we created custom quilted bedspreads, naturally coordinating with the two toned striped walls. Sweet & charming heavens greatly accent the beds, providing the room with a precious and fun feeling. Inside the heavens’ is a yellow plaid fabric simply correlating with both the walls and the bedspreads. The heavens’ outside is a soft yellow fabric with contrast hot pink textured dots, corresponding with the reds on the bedspread. Custom boxed round throw pillows are the final accent, tying the heavens together with the bedspreads. All in all, every part of the bedding creates a fun and youthful atmosphere.

This bedroom design is for a contemporary minded client. It offers a colorful pallete with functional pieces. The custom tailored bedspread with the custom floral bolsters allows for easy maintenance even for the busiest of people. The basket weave quilting style is quite unique. Custom upholstered cornices coordinate with the bolsters, repeating the same fabric design. Blackout honeycomb shades not only provide room darkening for a restful sleep, they also provide excellent insulation value in the hottest of summers and the coldest of winters.

This Guest Bedroom consists of several coordinating patterns to create a lively atmosphere. Using a large floral damask as the face fabric of the bedspread becomes a focal point of this bed. On account that this flounce style bedspread contains multiple fabrics, we used a complimenting blue and cream plaid fabric as its contrasting sides, greatly enhancing the flowers of the face fabric. The blue and cream plaid fabric is repeated on a throw pillow, together with two contrasting woven floral fabric throw pillows repeated from the pleated draperies. Altogether, this bedroom gives off a stimulating sensation.

Dressing up beds is a smooth and effortless approach to enhance ones bedroom. This unquilted bedspreads fabric carries a subtle print containing gentle colors of teal and light green, repeated on the shaped valance. Using a solid fabric, the custom upholstered headboard brings out a strong burst of the teal, and compliments many of the room’s surroundings with its soft curved shape. An ideal accessory to this bed is the two knife edge throw pillows with a large welt, corresponding with the headboard’s rolled edge. The pillows’ fabric is a tone on tone geometric pattern, a genuine accent to this bedroom.

The throw bedspread was custom made to fit an unusually high mattress. The geometric fabric was quilted by a hand guided outline technique, which made the pattern pop. Due to the large size of the quilt, we used a light weight (5 oz), fill to make handling a little more manageable. A pillow tuck to covers the pillows.

A highly embellished custom coverlet can give off a luxurious feeling to your master bedroom. The coverlet’s ember line fabric was repeated from the swag & jabots, and the quilting genuinely highlights the pattern. The scalloped bottom emulates the curves of the headboard, while the tassel trim carries out the elegance. The shams and Euro-shams are a fine decorative touch. The two shams are repeated in the coverlet’s face fabric with tassel trim along edge, while the three Euro-shams are repeated in the jabots’ green tone on tone damask contrast lining. The front smaller Euro-sham contains a center button and tassel trim along edge repeated from the coverlet and shams, while the two larger Euro-shams are boxed, with key tassels and finished with four buttons on the face. All pieces together create an ornate and comfortable place to relax.

Inspiration for a transitional medium tone wood floor bedroom remodel in Nashville with white walls

The homeowners of this California Cottage wanted a beach vibe in their 1700 sq. ft. home. They wanted to make the most of their spaces by widening doorways, adding wood floors throughout the house, and adding a skylight. The result is cozy, casual California living at its best with frequent family dinners and celebrations with friends.
