This is an example of a traditional full sun stone garden path in Detroit.

Rear garden terraces are framed by forest and lower rain gardens, filled with native birch, willow, fern and iris. Roof drains on the residence and french drains in the lawn terrace fill the space defined by low stone walls. Cypress logs were harvested from nearby river bottoms and milled to create the bridge that connects the terraces. This is an example of a small asian partial sun courtyard gravel and stone fence landscaping in Los Angeles.

A traditional annual border composed of French marigolds, blue Hawaii ageratum, white alyssum and dusty miller edges a cottage-style perennial bed. Yellow tree roses in containers and dinner-plate dahlias add summer-long color to this Cape Cod garden.

This customer wanted their deck to have seating around the edge. We built their deck and deck seating out of AZEK composite decking in Slate Grey. It features a double picture frame on the deck and single picture frame on the bench seating. This will be a lovely space for the customer to enjoy the outdoors in low maintenance on the comfort.

Barnett, Ltd. In keeping with the grand Palladian architectural style of the Pondbank House, the landscape architect has created an impressive series of complementary Mediterranean garden spaces using local stone for terracing and High Plains adapted plants. In addition to a kitchen and cutting garden and diverse planting schemes featuring over 250 species, there are many delightful pieces of garden art and creative garden details. Decorative fountain walls distribute roof and storm drainage to terraced plantings. An infinity lawn edge creates a “ha-ha” effect from the pool terrace to the borrowed landscape in the distance. A lovely moon gate leads to a secluded Japanese-style spa garden, an “aromabo” for contemplative relaxation and outdoor aromatherapy.
