In this remodel, our designer Kelly worked to update and brighten the kitchen while paying attention to the new floors that were fit up to the cabinets prior to the cabinet change. The homeowner wanted the kitchen to feel more open. By adding smarter interior storage, the wall cabinets over the peninsula could be taken out. The countertop shape of the peninsula was softened with a curve to accommodate more space in the dining room, while keeping seating space.
