A view of one of the matching guest bedrooms in the guest house. Floating white T&G ceilings waterfall down the sidewall, accentuating the theme of clean lines and square corners throughout. The window is trimmed with 3/4" MDF, adding to the contemporary look, and painted Benjamin Moore "Taos Taupe." Walls to the left of the T&G are painted Benjamin Moore "Stone Harbor." Our client designed the faux bamboo headboards and side tables in both rooms. For the side tables, she selected the same cabinets as the kitchenette and bathroom and had them finished with a 1/4 aluminum reveal vertically and horizontally on one side, then topped with Pental quartz in Coastal Gray. For the headboard, she used a panel of the cabinet material, had a 1/8" "Taos Taupe" line painted around the edges, then topped it with 4" steel border, painted to match the quartz on the side tables.
