Plumbing

Kitex is a plumbing product that was used in southwestern Ontario from approximately 1995 until 2005. This plastic pipe is commonly blue and orange but is sometimes light blue with different names on it. Basically the troublesome pipe is any plastic pipe with memory (bend it and it stays in that shape). The pipe it self is fine but has been known to fail at the connections. You can see in this picture corrosion at one of the fittings. Large class action lawsuit associated with this pipe.
