Large eagleston holly trees installed along a backyard fence to create a privacy screen. The customer installed flower beds around the hollies for extra interest. Eagleston Holly trees installed by Treeland Nursery in Gunter, TX.

The small urban backyard is designed as an extension from the living area on grade, with the natural gas Napoleon fireplace surrounded by Blue Ledgestone being the focus of the garden from the inside and out. A cast concrete seat supports the fireplace and provides extra seating. A Twombly's Red Japanese Maple and pots of Asparagus Meyers in pots frame the view from the living area. Espaliered Abutilon and Camellias soften the fence on the sides while a hedge of tightly spaced Podocarpus gracillior will grow to screen the rear wall and neighboring house. Blue star creeper grows in between the pavers.

Completed in the summer of 2013, this modern garden is located in Highland Park, Texas just north of Dallas. This garden features a modern edge with a swimming pool, concrete terraces, Ipe wood decks, a unique wood fence an outdoor shade structure with fireplace. The garden also includes and outdoor cooking area with Kalamazoo appliances.

Outdoor infrared sauna by Clearlight, outdoor shower with ipe wood walls, RH Modern double lounger, black fiberglass planters with pachysandra and podocarpus plants.

This is a California xeriscape succulent garden. Clients wanted color and texture with drought-resistant plant materials. They enjoy garden sculptures, so we included a Buddha and a Roman bust planted with succulents. The previous owners of the property left behind some old San Francisco cobblestones, which we incorporated into the new design, using them as garden steps. We built low, raised beds out of stone, also existing on the property, and used containers along steps and against existing concrete walls to soften the hard surfaces.
