The challenge was to create something that enhanced the property without overshadowing the landscape, while adhering to the strict zoning regulations that come with waterfront construction. The result is a design that encompassed all of the clients’ dreams and blends seamlessly into the gorgeous, forested lake-shore, as if the property was meant to have this house all along. The ground floor of the main house is a spacious open concept that flows out to the stone patio area with fire pit. Wood flooring and natural fir bead-board ceilings pay homage to the trees and rugged landscape that surround the home. The gorgeous views are also captured in the upstairs living areas and third floor tower deck. The homeowner's treasured family heirlooms are proudly displayed, including a large antique carved wood regulator clock, a traditional drop leaf library table, and a collection of well-loved silver and aluminum serving platters. This project was an addition to expand the interior bedroom and a new garage build to give more storage. The challenge was getting approval to build the place the new stand alone garage strategically on the property line so as not to crowd the house but also to not violate zoning regulations of the city. A full historic restoration and renovation of a 1925 Carmel-by-the-Sea home, reimagined with a castle-inspired architectural theme. What began as a structural rejuvenation evolved into a comprehensive historic restoration, requiring close coordination with the local historic review board and county regulations to preserve the home's character while modernizing it for today's living. The result honors nearly a century of history while delivering a fully updated custom home.

Flat Top Drapes with top Ties hung on four posted bed mission revival style bed. Natural color to compliment the color scheme of the bed room. French pleated drapes with beautiful peacock print in warm color scheme. Black iron rod for both the canopy bed and the drapes. Drapes lined with our apollo lining, which give the drapes a fuller look and also provides darkness and regulates temperature.

These home owners used Weatherwell Elite aluminum shutters to create privacy in their pool house. The white powder coat complements their transitional design scheme, and bi-fold shutters allow them to regulate the airflow and view.
