The best of the past and present meet in this distinguished design. Custom craftsmanship and distinctive detailing give this lakefront residence its vintage flavor while an open and light-filled floor plan clearly mark it as contemporary. With its interesting shingled roof lines, abundant windows with decorative brackets and welcoming porch, the exterior takes in surrounding views while the interior meets and exceeds contemporary expectations of ease and comfort. The main level features almost 3,000 square feet of open living, from the charming entry with multiple window seats and built-in benches to the central 15 by 22-foot kitchen, 22 by 18-foot living room with fireplace and adjacent dining and a relaxing, almost 300-square-foot screened-in porch. Nearby is a private sitting room and a 14 by 15-foot master bedroom with built-ins and a spa-style double-sink bath with a beautiful barrel-vaulted ceiling. The main level also includes a work room and first floor laundry, while the 2,165-square-foot second level includes three bedroom suites, a loft and a separate 966-square-foot guest quarters with private living area, kitchen and bedroom. Also featured is a 21 by 18-family room, a 14 by 17-square-foot home theater, and an 11 by 12-foot guest bedroom suite.

Classic Pan-Asian design defines this foyer. The Mystic Console features Black Penn Shell which is beautifully contrasted with an inlay of Young Penn Shell and a leather-wrapped rattan base. Flanking table lamps and the Lotus Blossom mirror completes the look.

You can see the blue and silver hues from the city view coming into the home. We followed the cool color palette as seen in the upholstered furniture and warmed up the space with hints of gold in the dining plates. You can see the column was cvered

The living room in a private residence at the Icon Brickell condominiums in Miami, FL
This shot of the great room shows blue and silver hues from the city view, this was the main point of the residence that we wanted to highlight. If you compare this image to the before picture of the great room, you'll see that we hid the column in the corner by covering it with mirrors from the floor to the ceiling. We followed the cool color palette by choosing white and silver furniture and an area rug. The gold as you can clearly see in this photo however was used to warm up the room.

Here you can see how the gold wall accents and dining plates add warmth to the room while the blue hints from the exterior flood into the rest of the room.

The unit has an impressive view of Brickell Ave and flooded the room with tones of silvers and blues. The cool color palette used throughout helped highlight this since the furnishings used throughout blended in seamlessly. The hints of gold were simply used to warm up the home while also adding a rich feel to the room.

This reception area was created by removing a wall between the original suite and the one next door which we completely gutted allowing us space for an additional kitchen, conference room, 4 private offices, room for 13 additional workstations, a secure server room and dedicated areas for printing and document assembly

The Butterfly House is a mid-century 1955 gem practically unaltered since inception. Noted architect Jules Gregory designed this home for the original owners, introducing his vision of an economical home. Sited on 3 private acres the sun streams through a wall of windows framing beautiful SE views. A Nakashima Server separates the kitchen from the dining area. A 2 sided fireplace opens to the dining and sunken living area.
