The placement of furnishings in a room decorated in a casual style is usually asymmetrical because this type of room arrangement presents a less rigid appearance. Informal balance seems to lend itself well to rooms where the message is to relax and unwind. It’s much more restful to the human eye than a formal, symmetrical balance where placement of furnishings is exact and unyielding.

This contemporary bath is accentuated with cool tones of natural materials and unified by repetition of simple geometry. The recurrence of clean lines deliberately elongates the bathroom, which leads the eye through the space with ease. Updated LED lights and fixtures brighten the room and fill the space with a light and airy ambiance. Among the cool tones, a modernized vanity cabinet not only provides privacy behind the partition wall but also demands attention by breaking up the cool tones with a splash of warm pommele sapele wood texture. Within the shower, the grid of interesting lines is once again intentionally interrupted by a dynamic asymmetrical curved step sweeping along the shower wall.

Crooked, designed by Alberto Sala, is an amusing cuckoo clock of unconventional style with crooked and uneven shapes that intensify its impactful design. The recurrence of uneven shapes and cheerful colours skilfully mixed by the designer and applied from the base to the roof of the cuckoo 'house', make it unique. The round pendulum which is also coloured, is the only shape we are familiar with. It appears almost unnaturally at the tilted base of the clock highlighting its dissymmetrical shape. The clock is made of wood and is varnished with nontoxic paint. It is available in four versions: the first two are orange and red or green and navy, the third and fourth have a wooden element and are made in pale wood with blue and navy details or dark wood with red and green details. It features a quartz mechanism, battery run, with an intelligent sensor that automatically turns off the cuckoo sound in the absence of light.

Including wallpaper in a modern interior design project can be a success, especially if the interior changes are recurrent. This can be the example of a house whose owner likes to make several changes of environment in a short time; although we can also refer to commercial premises, such as a clothing store where the decoration is changed with each season.
