Hideaway, Le Marche - San Marino, Italy A historical Hideaway. A well-hidden place where the spirit finds its peace, nested between the Romagna, the Marches and Tuscany. Entering the gate, one leaves behind the pace of chaotic lives, and abandons itself to the joy of living of this ancient land. It is meant to be understood as a site of experience, where nature, culture, history and pleasure are elevated to the centre of things in order to finally rediscover it in oneself. A sort of “back to the simplicity”, aiming to dedicate oneself to observation and drawing from it valuable experiences for one’s life. Each of the three houses presents itself as an unexpected world in its own right, closed in on itself and yet a harmonious part of the whole, waiting to be enlivened by lively laughter, animated conversation and playfulness. This territory is a paradise for lovers of nature and the great outdoors. The sheer variety of places and landscapes enables visitors to take excursions on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. History and architecture enthusiasts can follow an itinerary of strongholds and castles dotted around the area. Lovers of gourmet food will discover a full range of traditional dishes and quality local produce all year round. The rich variety of museums enables exploration into the rural arts, medieval architecture, archaeological finds and contemporary art.

Our designer has achieved a stylish look by combining dark cabinets and light-colored marbles.

When people think of a salon, we visualize a quick paced space, full of bustle. This salon is designed to be a refuge for one, in oneself. The colours are warm and earthy, the light is functional yet soothing. The natural light is also welcomed in, with a beautiful tree as the backdrop. The Material palette is carefully composed together with shades of Walnut wood complemented by Matte Black paint and Off-White Paint. The warm tones in fabric, and the brass accents add a layer of comfort along with the placement of natural plants. The reception area and lounge is designed to give the customers a peek of the space and the luxurious experience that awaits them. The salon space itself is spread out, and minimal; fabric chairs also designed and manufactured by us, to sink into. The space is designed to connect people visually to the surrounding and to other people should they choose to be, and to the staff, that they always feel like they’re being taken care of, but also zoned such that one can choose to be reclusive and enjoy the company of oneself. The warmth we were able to achieve with the space was a result of well curated fabric, the right furniture type. with the pop of brass accents and the lighting. It is a perfect marriage of function and aesthetic in our clients’ eyes.

Clean lines and a muted color palette create a serene atmosphere, allowing the iconic Eames La Chaise lounge chair to take center stage. Its sculptural form and inviting curves beckon you to relax and unwind, while the plush white upholstery adds a touch of luxury. A carefully curated gallery wall of black and white photography adorns the wall, adding depth and visual interest to the space. Each photograph, meticulously framed in black, tells a story of mid-century modern architecture and California's rich cultural heritage. The interplay of light and shadow in the photographs creates a dramatic effect, further enhancing the room's artistic ambiance. The room's minimalist design is punctuated by a few carefully chosen accents. A small, round side table, crafted from wrought iron and topped with a single yellow flower in a sleek vase, adds a touch of warmth and organic beauty. The stone floors, cool and smooth underfoot, provide a natural counterpoint to the softness of the lounge chair. This sitting area is a sanctuary for the modern aesthete, a place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse oneself in the beauty of design and art. It is a space that celebrates the timeless elegance of mid-century modern furniture and the enduring appeal of California's iconic architecture.

The bathroom now has an open and airy feel. Our client didn't want a glass enclosure, so a simple textured curtain and Turkish towels add dimension while ALSO softening the look. The new bathtub is deep and perfect for a therapeutic soak. The shower niche is finished with glass shelves to maintain an uncluttered look while offering a great deal of storage - no more rusty shower caddies in this space. Meanwhile, the polished nickel finishes and mirrored medicine cabinet reflect light to create a brighter space, which is key in a bathroom without a natural light source. The redesigned bathroom is now functional, timeless and offers a great deal of storage. It is a wonderful space to pamper oneself in. Photo: Virtual 360NY
